Sunflower This set of pre-Surfin' Safari goodies includes several takes of "Surfin", "Luau" as well as some other lost gems. Very well put together, with informative liner notes, glimpses at the Boys' personalities through the studio chatter, and beautiful demos like the previously unreleased "Lavender", this is a must for any Beach Boys collection. The sound quality is excellent, and the order of the tracks is well thought out. However, much like the "Sea Of Tunes" bootleg series, this CD does not bear repeated listening. Instead it is a treasure to be kept away and brought out for special listening occasions.
