This page was authored when the current version of Cheeta was 6.3.x... Since then there have been many changes and updates to the client. I am keeping this page here in the hope that many of the items are still of use but I do not make any suggestions that the fixes found on these pages will work for the newer versions of Cheeta or Yahoo Chat which Cheeta must follow for protocols to be used on Yahoo. I am no longer connected to the Cheeta site or software other than a casual user of it. For the most current help information I would suggest you contact the Cheeta forums at http://messages.cheetachat.com/ and look for the Forums link on the page there. The date shown below as far as a revision of this page is only due to HTML updates and not for any change in the basic information in this section of the site.
