Boomer is a full 15 male that has a good heavy squall mouth that can drown out other dogs.  He has plenty of desire and a very powerful quick nose.  He is normally up front where the action is.  He runs the line independently, while still running in the pack.  He runs pretty much the same speed if he is solo, brace or in a pack.  He has good line control, point of loss check work and handles very good.  He has lost some line control as he has gotten more experience and rabbit wise.  If he knows the rabbit is running hard and fast Boomer will slide back on the line if he misses it while still moving forward.  This can cause him to really stretch a pack out.  He is the most exciting dog to hunt over that I have ever owned.  His only faults are that he may give one or two barks ever once in a while when honoring another dog that jumped a rabbit.  He has developed into a good searcher and does jump rabbits.

 

 

Mikey is turning into a decent jump dog.  He jumps almost all my rabbits.  He has a loud chop/bawl mouth.  He is around 14 inches and lean built.  He runs conservative and at medium or a little above speed.  He should develop into a nice anchor dog for me.
