SUBJECT: "Chumming"
I'm sure all you fellow anglers have heard of the art of chumming. Jaw-Jacker will tell you, from experience, that chumming
is a proven method to catch lot's of fish. Chum is nothing more than ground up fish and/or squid. Menhadden oil is also good.
I like to set out chum while I am sitting on some of my favorite fishing spots. Doing this will bring fish to you. Remember
big Snapper will often feed well off of the bottom. The chum will help bring them closer to the surface, to hit your drift
lines. Attracts virtually all top water feeding species. You can also use chum while trolling. Fish will follow the sent to
your trolled baits. You can buy chum in many forms, from your local tackle supply shops. I personally save all unused baits,
refreeze it, then use it as chum on my next trip. Give chumming a try. You might find that it REALLY works!!! Happy fishing.
