My Story

I am a 29 year old Virgo. I am definitely a heterosexual male who just happens to be a crossdresser. (Why? I don't know, but it's something I have to learn to accept and deal with, because it's not going away!)I love to hang out in either boy-mode or girl-mode with my beautiful girlfriend who loves me and accepts me for who I am.
(Read her side of the story by clicking HERE!)

My story starts like all the others, I discovered a fascination with anything feminine at a very young age (about 5). I dressed in my mother's clothes at every opportunity until about the age of 16, when I discovered partying and girls. It wasn't until about the age of 20 that the feelings started to resurface, and I came out to my girlfriend of 3 years who outed me to everyone we knew and then we broke up in a really nasty fight (most girls just drive you crazy, she actually drove me into a tree! but that's another story)This threw me back into the closet for a few years until the feelings became so strong they were impossible to ignore (I am sure some of you can relate to that!)

By 1996 I was finally living by myself and had the freedom to explore my feminine side much more freely! As I started to explore this feminine side, my partying persona mellowed out as I was relieved of a lot of stress! After a few years of living in solitude, I bought a computer, found the internet and started finding out what this transgendered thing is really all about. I didn't really know how deeply embedded this was until I met my girlfriend. We actually had met at first when we were both 16 and had gone out at that time.  We were friends for a few years and then the big blowup with my ex-girlfriend happened and I left town without looking back. Well, here it was years later and I found her email address one night. We just started talking again as friends (she was 3,000 miles away). Then she came to visit and the old magic was there!

Well, to make a really long story short, she moved all the way across the country to be here with me. When she moved in I did not tell her about Jennifer at first. I did the "purging" thing and got rid of all of my feminine stuff. Jennifer did not handle this well, and did not want to be stuffed back into the closet after several years of freedom. She retaliated and I almost lost my girlfriend because of it! After a lot of thought I finally figured out what was happening and decided to take a huge chance and tell her about all of it. It was the best thing I ever did. Now we are exploring this together, and I have the love and support of the most wonderful woman I ever met.

Jennifer gets a makeover!
On Saturday afternoon we went down to JC Penney's and got my colors done (I'm a Warm Spring, whatever that means) and a makeover to see what the right makeup colors were for my skin type. The lady was nice and even seemed to have fun doing a makeover for a guy! And the results were amazing, as you can see from the pictures!

If you have never considered getting this done, I highly recommend it as it will save you lots of money and trial and error to find out what colors of makeup will look good on you. You can waste a lot of good money on cheap Revlon makeup at the local drugstore, or you can go have a professional do it the right way. It may seem scary at first, but well worth it, and actually kind of fun, which we both found out.

If you live near Orlando and want a makeover, go see Allison Gruene at the JC Penney's Color Me Beautiful counter in the Altamonte Mall. She will be happy to work with you and make you feel at ease. Then we came home and did a photo shoot! You can see the results on my picture page if you click the Pics link below.

Wow, it's been a long time!! Some updates: Jennifer has been out to dinner at a friend's house a few times, but hasn't gone out in "public" yet. I married my wonderful woman on Valentine's Day and we are expecting our baby girl to be born any day now! Hopefully we'll have time to do some pics and website updates after she's born! We are set to be presenters at this year's Southern Comfort Conference where we are doing a couples chat with our friends Star and Andrea.
