I attempted to leave this as a comment on your blog, but you're obviously not interested in comments. You have every
right under the laws of the US to be anti-Catholic, but you could at least try to be intelligent, well read anti-Catholics
(they do exist, since I have friends who qualify!). You state in your article "Constantine and religion"
that "Constantine did not abolish democracy, but introduced policies that made the Senate ineffective."
It would have been extremely difficult for Constantine to abolish democracy since it had been destroyed under the early
principate and the Senate had been an ineffective rubberstamp from the reign of Augustus, over three hundred years before
Constantne became Emperor. These are simple facts which could have been learned by reading any popular history of the Roman
Empire.
