About Us..

I always thought things like these were hoaxes. Then I received a letter from the company asking us to visit this web site and click on donate food because they are a sponsor. Large companies tend not to get sucked into hoaxes so I thought I would add a link to my home page so that others might also donate. Here is a copy of the E-mail I received at work. Giving back to the communities where we do business is a core company value. We believe supporting communities where we live and work is the best way to show our employees, our customers, our suppliers, and our neighbors that we care about them, their families, and their future. In 1999, The "See the possibilities" Fund was created to support initiatives that focus on meeting the needs of children - a key ingredient to shaping the future of our global community. As part of its global outreach, we will sponsor donations to America's Second Harvest via The Hunger Site this week, December 4 - 8. This is the world's first "click-to-donate" site where 88 million visitors have donated more than 10,000 metric tons of free food to help feed the hungry. Second Harvest is the United States' largest domestic hunger relief organization, distributing food to 26 million hungry Americans each year, nearly a third of whom are children. As a leader in developing innovative technology that benefits customers throughout the world, we applaud the efforts of The Hunger Site and its unique use of the Internet to activate donations that will help children. Sponsorship of The Hunger Site is an ideal vehicle for us; the global reach of our corporate citizenship reflects the global scope of our business. The timing of the partnership with The Hunger Site is significant, as the North American Supplier Conference occurs this week. This will give our customers and suppliers an opportunity to donate food to the hungry and view our innovative technology. COMMON QUESTIONS How does this work? Q. What is The Hunger Site? Q.
