In 1989, Mr. Thanes and Mrs. Chirapa Katekalong came to take over the operation of the school. Prior to 1989, "Karnda Kindergarten" was operated by Mrs. Karnda Pussaramalai with an enrollment of some 50 students. Under the new administration, "Karnda Kindergarten" became "Karnda School" hosting classes from nursery through Mathyom 3 with an enrollment of now over 500 students.

Under their direction, Karnda School has gained a reputation for high academic standards. Not content to rest on it's good reputation, the school is ever evolving, with the administration and staff continually striving for success and excellence in education.
