OLDTIMER FOUND DEAD AT WASILLA
DAVID REEDY FOUND DEAD ON LAKE: HAD BEEN MISSING SEVERAL DAYS.
Stanley Herning, young man of Wasilla, who arrived in anchorage last evening, brings the news that Paul Reedy, pioneer resident of Wasilla and who was well known in Anchorage, was found dead near there several days ago.
The deceased had been trapping this winter down on the flats below Wasilla near the lake. The last time he was seen alive was New Year's Day. A searching party was collected several days later and after an extended search the body was found lying face downward on the ice of the lake. His death apparently resulted from heart trouble, the nature of which was not ascertained.
The remains will be laid at rest at Wasilla this afternoon by his friends and neighbors.
He is survived by two daughters and other relatives who are residing in the states. They have been notified of the sad occurrence.
