- Make reservations as soon as possible, particularly during peak travel seasons.
- Make sure your pet’s vaccinations are up to date.
- Any pet that has access to the outdoors should wear a collar and I.D. tag.
- Provide thorough instructions regarding the care of your home and pets. If there are changes to your information,
be sure to tell your sitter.
- Have extra supplies on hand in case you are detained. Keep your supplies together and in one place that is
easily accessible.
- Leave your itinerary and a phone number where you can be reached and/or the name and phone number of at least
one contact person in case of an emergency.

- Leaving a piece of clothing with your scent or a radio playing on low will help comfort your kitty while
you‘re gone.

if you change the locks or your security codes.
