Animal Makers:
Budweiser Frogs

These are Bud Frog foam latex skins awaiting undercoating and paint. The parts are assembled and blended. See how the arms are glued and then burned to blend with the body parts? The undercoating will blend them even better. The animatronics are yet to be installed. See more images on the Animal Makers site.

Animatronic Hobby Projects

 Robert Barch:
Animatronic head

A photo of some work that I did 7 or 8 years ago, obsolete by what I am doing now. It is a mask that is computer controlled but also can be 'controlled' by the actor wearing it.

Monica Roxburgh:
Phoenix Puppet

OK, I am cheating here, but because I created this web site I get to cheat. ;) This hand and rod puppet was supposed to have animatronic eyelids, but I ran out of time before the bird had to be completed. Ah well, next time then. See more images of it here . -Monica
