My Sony Vaios Pentium 4 Desktop Computer's hard drive broke down after 8 years; so I bought the same Maxtor Plus 9 200GB SATA/ATA HDD that it originally had installed in it. I put in the new hard drive then I used the F2 Key to set up and save the BIOS, Next, I turned on the computer. Then restarted the computer, and I used the recovery CD disk; and then installed the 11 of 11 installation CD disks. The Hard Drive that I bought for it was sealed and brand new; but it was built eight years ago; before the Maxtor Hard Drives became Seagate Hard Drives. The computer is working like brand new; factory installed shape, again. - 2011
