I decided to buy a custom multimedia center computer, with everything built in. The computer has a built in TV card, and it is a home entertainment system. It can also display on the windows screen on the television, and it has its own remote. It has both CD and DVD disk, that can play and record video and music.
The Pentium 4 processor 540 CPU, has Hyper-Threading so it can run more programs at once; and it is liquid cooled. The L2 1 MB Cache gives more RAM to programs when they need it, and has 1GB of RAM.
The computer has a built in floppy disk, two i.Link S 400's, and five USB ports. It also has a xD Picture Card, Memory Stick, CF, and a SD Slot; and a 56K modem.
I like this computer because, I never had to upgrade it. The custom computer already came with the media software tools, installed, and it uses Windows XP, Pro. I installed alot of software, and it didn't use much of the 200 GB HD.
I also bought a 17 inch, LCD monitor for it that came with a sub-woofer, and two stereo speakers. Then, I bought a 3 in 1, scanner printer.
