SAYYAD DYNASTY (1414 - 1450 AD)
Timur on his way appointed Khizar Khan his Viceroy, who became the king of Delhi in 1414 AD. He was a Sayyad and therefore his dynasty ruled over Delhi for about 37 years. The last king Alam Shah, handed over the rule to Bahlol Lodhi, the Afghan Governor of Punjab, in 1451 AD and himself retired.
