Maxine took the last official portraits of the late Prime Minister Maurice R. Bishop of Grenada and his cabinet. Her photographs of the late prime minister are in the Schaumburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem, New York. She also painted the portrait of Mr. Bishop on the Pathfinder Mural, a seven-story mural that was over looking the West Side Highway in Greenwich Village, N.Y. |
