Our Meetings
Mended Hearts meet the second Sunday of every month (except July and August)
at 2 PM in the auditorium at the Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale
Lakes. The meetings are open to all heart surgery patients, their families,
and all others who are interested in heart health. Those who have attended
the meetings have found them to be informative and supportive.
Directions to Florida Medical Center (5000 W Oakland Park Blvd, Lauderdale
Lakes):
From I-95, exit at Oakland Park. Go west to signal light at 49th Avenue.
Make a left turn and follow the street around to the Main entrance. Parking
is available in the doctor's parking lot for the Mended Hearts Meetings.
/ From University Drive, go east on Oakland Park Boulevard. Cross
over the Florida Turnpike and take the first right turn (49th Avenue) and
follow the street around to the Main entrance of the hospital. Parking is
available in the doctors' parking lot for the Mended Hearts
meetings.
