This was after one of Hicham's matches

Younes got injured in the first round of the open this year, so he couldn't play. I felt so bad for him. I think everyone was waiting for the repeat of the last year's match with Andy. Fans were really dissapointed. Even though he wasn't playing, he stuck around for a while and was watching almost every match Hicham played.

Pat Rafter practicing before his doubles' match

Towards the end of the day my friend Jackie and I were on our way home, when we saw crowd gather on one of the practice courts. We went to check it out and it was Pat Rafter. He was so fantastic. After practice he borrowed Jackie's texter so he could sign autographs. After going right around the court and signing literally hundred or more, he actually remembered who he took it from. He nicely walked over to us, gave Jackie her texter and said thanks. We were both gobsmacked.

Now here is some action from the Davis Cup tie between Australia and Morocco, held in Perth in September this year.

This is me with Mounir El Aarej, after his win

Although neither Hicham nor Younes came to Perth, I still really enjoyed myself. There were some really amazing matches. I was really impressed with Mounir El Aarej. He is fantastic. Even though he won one of the matches, unfortunately, Morocco lost the tie 1-4.
