here's the photographic proof! and soon you will be able to read about our latest travels and misadventures in
north america! featured stories will probably include:
- the computer system crashing at LAX when gary was second in line to clear customs
- airport security in buffalo informing us politely but firmly that i was not allowed to have my dissecting kit (you
know, scalpels, pointy scissors, etc.) in my hand luggage and that if i forgot about it again in the future i could face a
huge fine and/or go on a no-fly list... oops
- our road trip to north carolina, during which we had the privilege of attending a southern black baptist worship service
with my (now southern black baptist) high school friend dawn - it was amazing!
- our road trip across nebraska, highlights of which included chimney rock (or 'elk penis' as the native americans
poetically called it),
carhenge and a real live rodeo in bridgeport, ne, on the 4th of july
- getting a group of kids at waldsee to make a 3-minute sci-fi film about mutant alien giant squid taking over the camp!!
