worth writing about

around the u.s. in 60 days!

here's the photographic proof!  and soon you will be able to read about our latest travels and misadventures in north america!  featured stories will probably include:

- the computer system crashing at LAX when gary was second in line to clear customs

- airport security in buffalo informing us politely but firmly that i was not allowed to have my dissecting kit (you know, scalpels, pointy scissors, etc.) in my hand luggage and that if i forgot about it again in the future i could face a huge fine and/or go on a no-fly list... oops

- our road trip to north carolina, during which we had the privilege of attending a southern black baptist worship service with my (now southern black baptist) high school friend dawn - it was amazing!

- our road trip across nebraska, highlights of which included chimney rock (or 'elk penis' as the native americans poetically called it), carhenge and a real live rodeo in bridgeport, ne, on the 4th of july

- getting a group of kids at waldsee to make a 3-minute sci-fi film about mutant alien giant squid taking over the camp!!  :D
