NY Nurse Mare Foals
UPDATE!
Good news! All 2003 nurse mare foals are now in new homes.
From Summer 2003
We've been in touch with a New York nurse mare farm and are trying to help find homes for their foals.
Apparently they're experiencing difficulty finding homes for their babies this year, and the costs to provide milk replacer is extremely high. It was made known to us that a group of foals would be taken to auction and only because of the milk replacer costs.
We spoke with the breeder and in an attempt to help these foals find homes and not have to go through the experience of an auction house, we're putting the word out that these babies need homes ASAP!
Please, serious inquiries only from individuals over 18 years in age with foal experience, thank you.
If you have the time, love and resources, please contact equinerescueresource@hotmail.com or phishmare@aol.com or call (845) 744-1728.
