(AP) -- The Coconino National Forest is asking people not to put Christmas decorations on trees that line forest highways. Over the past several years, decorating trees along well-traveled roads has become increasingly popular. But the Forest Service says the decorations distract motorists and also pose a threat to wildlife that might eat them or become entangled in them. This year the Forest Service will remove decorations and the people who put them up could be issued violation notices.
