Winter Estates in Fort Myers Florida
This is the OFFICIAL web site of the Thomas Edison Winter Home
and Museum in Fort Myers, Florida. The site includes information
on the Henry Ford Winter Estate, located next to the Edison
Winter Estate.
Both are owned and operated by the City of Fort Myers.
The
Edison Birthplace Museum
The Edison Museum in Milan, Ohio features a collection of rare
Edisonia, including examples of many of Edison's early
inventions, documents and family mementos.
Thomas Edison's childhood
home
This site is located in Port Huron, Michigan where the Edison
family lived after moving from Milan, Ohio in 1854. Very
interesting information on Edison's early life and the excavation
of the Edison homestead.
