Awaiting Thoughts

Waves lapping against the rocks
and a warm summers breeze blowing in the air
The perfect place for serenity.
Atop a grass covered hill high above the cliffs
a peaceful bench awaits ones thoughts.
In my minds eye I can go there to escape
to be free, to be one with my mind, body and soul.
Let me go there now so I don't lose myself completely.
Let me go if only for a moment,
so life doesn't take me away!
