Growing up in the backwoods of Wisconsin I learned to appreciate
friendships. I am a people who needs people. I surround myself with family and friends and am happiest when I can feel I have
helped or benefited others in someway. The very middle of 7 children I am a peacemaker and very easy going. My biggest problem
is knowing when to say no.
My Husband Roger and I make our home in Western Wisconsin
where he is a Realtor. We have 7 children ages 17 to 40. 5 sons and 2 daughters who have provided us with 10 grand naughties
as we call them, 6 boys and 4 girls ages 3 to 16. They are a constant source of love laughter and chaos.
Until 2 years ago I worked with my husband as his marketing
assistant. It was very enjoyable to be able to help with his work and be in the thick of the busy Real Estate business. When
my mother was unable to care for herself any longer I stopped working and stayed home to care for her. But her failing health
made it necessary for her to go into a full time nursing care facility. It was a very hard decission for me to make but I
now feel it was for the best for both of us. She is recieving excellent care and I see her several times a week.
Soon after that however both of my daughters were in need
of daycare for thier children. Again it was a hard decission for me but upon reasoning with it I became aware that my husband
could hire someone to do what I did for him but my grandkids could not hire a grandmother. They needed me and so Grandma's
Nest Daycare was opened and has been busy every since. I even have some volunteer grandchildren.
I love them all very much and am pleased caring for them
lightens the burdens of my children by knowing thier precious children are well cared for.
My interests are besides my family, studying the Bible, gardening,
travel and learning more about computers.
