This lovely Medieval fortress is Angers, in the Loire valley. This is an amazing place to photograph and I rather enjoyed
wandering the grounds and shooting off half a role. It is here that the famed Apocolypse Tapestries are kept and displayed
in a dimly lit room. Supposedly the biggest tapestry in the world but it was taken apart, scene by scene for display long
ago.

This lovely gem in Chenonceau, also in the Loire Valley. It boasts a 10th century tower, a lovely art gallery, sprawling carefully
manicured gardens and a river that literally runs right through it. James and I had the pleasure of canoes coming through!

These are the magnificent gardens of Chateau Villandry. Although it is quite a lovely small castle, the main attraction is
the gardens. This here is only a small fragment of them. It has a hedgemaze, fish stream, swan pond, fountaints, gazebos,
designed vegtable gardens and symbolic topiary mini-mazes, like these you see here. I could have spent the whole trip happily
roaming and relaxing is those magical gardens.
Boullion in Belgium. You have to cross two draw bridges to enter and it has a maze of undergound tunnels and tall towers to
explore. It even has a torture chamber!
Neuschwanstein, in all its glory. A color view taken from a bridge that connects two cliffs.

This is Scholss Hohenschwangau, where King Ludwig was born. It is right across from Neuschwanstein, but you have to ascend
seperate mountain trails to access them. The exterior has some lovely fountains and the interior has wonderfully painted walls,
as all of Ludwig's castles do.
A close up view of the main house at Linderhoff! The exterio doesn't see all too big, but the inside is all marble, gold leaf,
chandeliers and mirrors. It is amazing and should be explored at least once!
A view of Villandry from the gardens. The castle itself is nice, but as I said, the gardens win you over!
