Let's say, you've got a band.
You've got your sound down.
Maybe you've
got a gig or two around town.
You've recorded your first CD,
and things seem to be going cool.
Problem is,
no one seems to know a thing about you.
You need a review.
You need an interview.
You need Impact
Music Publicity and Music Journalism.
Just send an email with your request.
Provide as much or as little info as you wish.
If you have a bandpage, include the URL.
Don't send soundfiles. It's preferred you just send info detailing 'what'
your sound is...if there's interest (and, usually, there is!), we'll reply to your email and ask for a demo or complete
CD by mail with a full bio and any related information needed.
Again:
You Must Have recorded music available. Online soundfiles are NOT enough and many
sites will not accept reviews based on mp3's only.
And, please...be patient.
There's alot of good music out there and it takes a heap of time to give it all a
good listen and devote the proper amount of time and effort to writing up a decent review and pitching it to the "right" online
source. Sometimes, it takes months. Sometimes, it takes weeks. Sometimes, it takes a day or two...such is the nature of the
beast.
But, you WILL be contacted if a packet has been requested and received..that's a
promise. And you will be informed when the review and/or feature goes live.
Also, there may be fees involved.
Ask me for a rate sheet (reviews, interviews, media placement, press ready copy)
Good Luck!
