Meet the Griffin family, without doubt the funniest, most dysfuctional and downright weirdest family
ever to grace our tv screens, perhaps the best thing ever to come out of Rhode Island. The show combines the regular hilarious
animation and strength and depth of characters seen in The Simpsons with numerous hilarious pop culture references and more
adult humor to produce without doubt the funniest show, animated or not, ever seen on tv. Unfortunately, the humor is lost
on many people and some were even offended by the show's more adult themes which distinguish it from the vast majority of
cartoons, and so it was cancelled after just 3 seasons on the fox network. For those who are smart enough to understand its
humor and not pathetic enough to take offense at it's albeit occasionally offensive material, Family Guy is a tv gem
unlikely to be repeated.
Getting to know the Griffins:
Peter Griffin, Quahog's native son, dumber and fatter even than Homer Simpson. Peter is the star
of the show and whilst he might be a lazy, fat, flatulent git he is also a caring and loving husband and father, most of the
time anyway. He works as a toy factory assembly line worker, but has also held several other jobs including President of a
tobacco company and the sneeze guard at a snack bar (don't ask). He has lost his job approximately 6 times. His hobbies include
drinking beer, gold, drinking beer, watching baseball, drinking beer, hanging out with his friends in bars and also drinking
beer. He is inexplicably married to Lois, an attractive redhead.
 Lois Griffin, formerly Lois Pewterschmidt, daughter of shipping industrialist and Newport Billionairre
Carter Pewterschmidt and his wife Barbara. Lois is the one member of the Griffin family who seems completely out of place,
she's just too normal. Lois met and fell in love with Peter when he was working as a towel boy at her aunt's palacial summer
house, and remarkably they have remained married for 17 years. Lois works as a part-time piano teacher, and also briefly as
an airline stewardess, however her full-time job is cleaning up after Peter and the other members of the family. Her
hobbies include complaining that Peter doesn't include her in decisions, complaining that Peter doesn't pay enough attention
to her, and complaining that Peter doesn't respect her. These take up most of her free time.
 An ego-manaical, articulate and charismatic one year-old with designs for world domination and the
comlete enslavement of the human race, Stewie displays remarkable intelligence and refinement for a baby. Brian is apparently
the only one who can hear him talk and converse with him properly, but perhaps this is just because the other members of the
family are in denial about his true homicidal and diabolical nature. His favourite sayings include "victory is mine!" and
"damn you all!," and his main hobbies besides attempting world domination include shooting at a fifth grade level and attempting
to kill Lois, although he does concede that "it's not so much that I want to kill Lois, it's just that I don't want her to
be alive any more."
 The family dog, picked up off the street by Peter when he was living as a stray, born in Austin,
Texas. Oh yeah, did I mention he can talk? Brian is as articulate as Stewie but without the evil side, well not as much of
one anyway, and he loathes the baby with a vengeance. Brian is an alcoholic thespian, arrogant and proud for one of his species,
but he's still not above licking himself when he thinks no one else is watching. He once held a job as a sniffer job
but was fired after he developed a crack addiction, his taste in women crosses the species barrier, unsurprising given his
frequent drunkeness.
Chris is 13 years old and the middle child of the Griffin family, taking after him father in more
way than one. His arch-nemesis is the evil monkey who lives in his closet and his hobbies include drawing and painting. He
once had a part-time job at a driving range.
At 16 Meg is the eldest child in the Griffin family, unattractive and a social outcast, Meg is filled
with teenage angst and despises her family, refusing to believe that she fits in. Part-time journalist and waitress,
meg is occasionally seen dating the next-door neighbor Kevin Swanson, although we are never really given an insight into
the true nature of their relationship.

ambitious, but despite your intelligence and
dreams of world domination, you
still shit in
