Lestatt Kennels is owned by Martin O'Sullivan and is based in Co. Limerick. We live in the country and have always been animal lovers. We also breed Burmese and British Shorthair cats and have had some success on the Cat Show scene also, our Cat Prefix is Sliabh Cats.

We are relatively new to Chihuahuas and are very excited to be having some success at the shows. In 2003 we managed to breed some of our first Lestatt puppies. Having completely fallen in love with smooth coat Chihuahuas the search for one was long and difficult. Shelda Hornby came to our rescue with our first champion, CH. Bramerita Annie (Inca) whom we adore. As I am sure many of you will know, smoothcoat female Chihuahuas are impossible to get. Besides her obvious beauty, Inca is a complete Angel and so lovable! In 2006 we made up our first long coat champion with Champion Sylchis Harry Potter. We were lucky enough that three Lestatt champions were made up in 2009, including one in Belgium.
All our puppies are born and raised in our home. We are totally against all forms of animal cruelty and abuse.
This is a very exciting time for Lestatt Kennels. The shows are great fun and we are working in partnership with kennels in the UK and Europe..
