Welcome to our holidays. This site is about all those good, (and bad) experiences we have had touring on our bikes. They range from our honeymoon on the CBR to Micks brush with trees, rocks, mud etc on his Husky. We hope you would like to add some of your own trips to our site. or even some tips on traveling on bikes. Maybe you have a great spot for us to visit? Then again there maybe some places that are not worth the trip that we might like to know about. Anyway thanks for dropping by to have a look, hope you find something of interest here.

The honeymoon, now that was a trip to remember. We started out from Canberra and headed down along the south coast of NSW. Staying in Eden the first night, the pub there is great value. Then it was off to Vic following the coast to Lakes Entrance via Caan river. Great wood carving gallery there with a full sized Harley, worth stopping by to look at. Off to Phillip Island, (not for the races, wrong time of year). Stopped by to see the museum though then it was off to Wilsons Prom. I tell you what, those roads in Vic are a lot better than NSW. After a night in Wonthaggi it was off to Queenscliff on the ferry. The weather turned a bit sour on us at Torquay, and the lack of accomadation wasnt good either. Our stop over in Port Campbell on the Great Ocean Rd Was great, (the trip along the GOR was windy but we hear that is common). The pub at Port Campbell was a top place with very friendly locals and travellers alike. One night there then it was on to Melbourne, with a two night stop over before getting on the Devil Cat to Tassie.

Tassie? Well what can you say about tassie. Its a great place with great people. The roads are a dream, the worst road we came across made the Princes Hwy look like a goat track. Very smooth and lots of corners. And for those who say you can see Tassie in a week, didnt you stop and have a good look. The views around Queenstown are awsome. Frecinet National Park was a blow out when you see it as you come over the hill heading towards Swansea. Wish there was more room here to tell you every thing, but we have included some pictures for you. Pictures are never as good as the real thing, so hopefully you have already been and know what we are talking about. Or maybe this will make you want to make the trip across the Strait.
