Top physical therapists

The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 1,310 out of 5,338 passed the Physical and Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Zamboanga cities on August 2001.

The successful examinees who garnered the 20 highest places in the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination are:

THE PROFESSIONAL Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,200 out of 4,788 examinees have successfully passed the Physical and Occupational Therapy Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Physical & Occupational Therapy this February 2002.

The Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is composed of Dr. Teresita Joy P. Evangelista, chairman; Raul G. Agustin, Ma. Mercedes S. Caluag-Leido and Aida Agnes Q. Estrada, members.

The results were released four working days from the last day of examination.

Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration will start in Manila on Feb. 20, but not later than Mar. 1, 2002. Those who will register are required to bring the following: latest Community Tax Certificate; 2 pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background), 1 piece 1" x 1" picture; 3 pieces documentary stamps, and 1 small brown envelope; and to pay the initial registration fee of 400 pesos. Successful examinees in Manila should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their professional oath will be held before the Board on Mar. 8, 2002 at 1 p.m. at the Manila Midtown Hotel, Pedro Gil Street, Ermita, Manila.
