As I have already stated, I report and comment  on the best Buffy fan fiction on the net.  Most of the stories are adult in nature and may involve (blood-play, homosexual sex, and fun with farm animals, baaahhh).

‘ Blood Worship’ is probably set sometime in season six. Spike stumbles across a Buffy in need of a pain reliever. The story mainly illustrates Spikes technique in taking the pain of menstruation away. I give the man high marks.

Calla has taken the ewww value out of that umm time of the month. She shows fantastic attention to detail in her writing without going over board. Take a peek at the below part of ‘Blood Worship’.

‘ His hands left her perfect abdomen and with trembling fingers he lightly traced the hem of her chaste white gown where it draped over the tops of her thighs.  Their soft, silky texture belied the immense strength they contained, as did much of the rest of her.  Fey and delicate described her shell, but not her core.  Blazing and robust, commanding and intense he would see it surface when she needed it, or when he touched her.  Battle and blood, hatred and passion, that's when the true Buffy emerged. 

His hands encased her hips and his thumbs pressed on her pelvis and hooked under the little-girl underwear to ease them down.  She lifted her bottom to help him and he drew them down her perfectly shaped legs and threw them to the side with a faint rustle of plastic and paper.  ‘

Set sometime during or after season four, Xander and Spike spend some time in the shower together. This is an undersized PWP, but it has remarkable dialogue. It’s a good story to get a reader’s feet wet with the Spander ship.

 ‘ "It's your turn to shave, whelp." The amused voice broke through his reverie.

"I...um...I just shaved this morning.”

 Spike nodded in the direction of Xander's throbbing erection. "Wasn't talking about your face, luv." ‘

When Buffy was pretending to be the BuffyBot to get info from Spike, how far would she have gone to get what she wanted? Maybe further then she would have ever believed.

Looking for some cheerful good old pre-season six Spike/Buffy smut? ‘Keep the Smile On!’ was made for you. This fiction is light and airy, no angst in sight.   

‘ “But,” he suddenly said, looking up at her kind of sadly. “I s’pose I could use a little TLC.”

She faltered for a moment. TLC? What’s that mean. She supposed to bind his wounds? Give him backrub? He wasn’t up for sex, so……

Then she saw him nudge his head towards his pants, and she nearly freaked out. She managed to force the fake smile to stay on, but it took all she had. This wasn’t in the plan! And what did he want? A hand job……a blowjob??? ‘

CellarDweller used just enough of the real dialog to make it believable and smooth flowing. It is a real pleasure to read.

‘ Randy William Giles had his first encounter with a vampire when he was five, and since that time, he has been haunted by dreams, nightmares, where he is an evil creature of the night. Together with Joan, the current Slayer, he will try to overcome his history, but will he be able to rise above what he once was, or will he be fated to repeat the crimes of his past? ’ This is very AU, set in the ‘Tabula Rasa -verse’ were Randy is human.

I read the above summery about three different times, each time thinking this story sounds dumb and passed it over. The fourth time I ran across it, I didn’t read the summery. I just started the story. After the first paragraph, I thought this sounds worth the read. I put it in the mental-rolodex to read later when I had the time and was in the mood for a AU story. Damn, I wish I had started it earlier. Cosmicfish is magnificent. How the hell did her/he come up with this amazing story. And it is amazing.

Just so readers know it isn’t as AU as it sounds. Spike and Buffy are a mane part of this story. In fact, the only and I mean only problem with this story is sometimes it is hard to tell which verse/part/past or present, you are reading, but that only happen once for me. Some readers may not like the jumping back and forward of the story.

I sincerely love this story. I love the concept of Randy/William having the darkness of Spike in side of himself and not knowing how to control it.

' He stared directly at his flask, refusing to allow his gaze to wander elsewhere. “I -I dream about killing. When I was real small, it was usually Mum. I’d find myself where it happened, only it would be me sinking my fangs into the back of her neck, me cutting my wrist ...”

He let his voice trail off, squeezing his eyes shut and letting out a ragged breath, “But later they would get worse. It wouldn’t just be my Mum anymore, it would be complete strangers, people with faces I had never seen, people in strange outfits, like they were from the past. And I wouldn’t just be biting anymore, I’d be slicing out their guts and breathing in the smell of their blood and using my claws to rip into their faces.” Randy shuddered, “And ‘bout the time girls stopped having cooties Dru would be with me, and first there would be blood and ...” he broke off, shame rising within him as a fiery tsunami. “Well, you’ve stolen the book on vampire mating rituals from my father a few times, you can guess.”

Joan stared at him with wide eyes, choosing to ignore the (completely incorrect!) comment about the book. “Every night?”

She could tell that her intense gaze was making him uncomfortable, and she dropped her eyes so that she wasn’t looking at him when she heard his next words. “Yeah. Only I don’t think they’re dreams.”

Her eyes flashed to his face, seeing the raw pain in his indigo eyes, “Then what ...?”

“Memories.” Randy groaned softly, taking another extended chug from his flask. “I think they’re memories.”

Joan reached out to touch his shoulder, wanting to comfort him, but he shied away from her fingers, practically jumping off of the couch. He began to pace wildly in front of the seat, “ I think I’m a monster.” '

‘Recidivism’ is truly an original fan-fiction. Try it. I feel like a total snob for not reading it the first time I ran across it. The rating is set as Hard R because of the violence. Sadly, Cosmicfish has decided to leave most of the great sex scenes out, but there is still great sexual tension between the characters.

Cousinjean’s fantastic story ‘The Butterfly Effect’ has a stand-alone prequel, umm sorta. There is a moment in ‘The Butterfly Effect’ where Buffy thinks of the only picture she ever had of her and Spike, This fic relays how that happens.  

' Officially, they were on patrol. Okay, so patrolling didn't usually include strolls along the busy promenade. But the seclusion of the cemetery afforded too many dangerous opportunities, and not all of them the fighty kind. Anyway, she'd had to get out of the house. To be anywhere else but there. Patrolling was the only excuse she could use that didn't cause anybody to give her the look. She hated that look. It said she was a bad sister. A bad friend. An all around bad human being. Even worse was the other one, the guilty one they tried never to let her see, that said they regretted her resurrection as much as she did. She couldn't handle seeing either tonight. '

The story is a must read for anyone who has read ‘The Butterfly Effect’, but also it is a great stand-alone.

Spike gives up the information on the two Slayers he killed for $50 and some chicken wings. What will he ask for to get information about Angelus? This story is set some place during ‘Fool for Love’.

Call this reader crazy; I see this short little fic as being sweet. I know blowjobs are not necessarily the most romantic of acts, but I see Spikes intent as being truly agreeable. I mean for a soulless evil monster. He just wants to be close to her.

A future AU, where Buffy was never brought back from the dead in season six, but the biker demons still hit Sunnydale. Spike protects Dawn but with no slayer, the town has no chance.

Basic, this story is a, what if Dawn and Spike were forced to run from Sunnydale. Dawn would grow into a woman and that little crush she had on Spike would also grow. However, this story has nothing basic about it. It is complex, and Diva_stardust drags both Dawn and Spike over broken glass. It story has a heavy angst warning on it. ‘On Our Own’ may not be for every reader, but it is so very well written. I love the idea that although Dawn’s body continues to grow and develop, her mine is very much a teen. And the way she comes on to Spike, it makes me feel sorry for the poor demon.

‘ Spike hated the words that came out of her mouth lately. Everything sounding like an invitation. The way she was always begging him to teach her everything. The way he would catch her watching porn in the motel rooms and then look at him like she expected him to teach her that too. It wasn’t right that all she had in the world anymore was him. It wasn’t right that she expected him to play every role in her life. Mother, sister, father, friend, and now lover too. ‘

If the idea of Spike and a 18-year-old Dawn together does not make you think "uhh, yuuuck", go read this story. If the idea does, why the hell are you here?

Diva takes something that could be seen as wrong or filthy and weaves it into gossamer dreams. Don’t take her stories at face value, the meaning carry’s deeper than a simple summery or review.

‘ She looks like a little girl.

Spike pulls his hand back before taking her off his lap. Dawn looks dejected and confused. “Is there something wrong?”

He doesn’t know how to answer that so he says nothing.

“She’ll never love you. I love you already. Isn’t that enough?” ‘

I was sixteen when I had my first kiss; the guy (now my very hot boyfriend) was a lot older. It was the hottest kiss ever, next to this one. This summer was our 10-year-anniversary. Sometimes beautiful things are found in unexpected places. And little girls are the real big bad wolves.

Buffy and Spike are seniors at Sunnydale High. In a hope to get back at their ex’s, Buffy and Spike pretend to be a couple. The only problem is that they hate each other with a deep passion. Can they convince the entire school this is love?  This is an AU human fic.

‘A Touch of Jealousy’ is filled with teenager angst. And on top of that the characterization is believable. Spike and Buffy ring true in this story. I love to read stories where these two are at each other’s throats. It is genuinely enjoyable.

  “I don’t think this is such a good idea anymore.”

“Oh, come on, Betty! You can’t back out now. It’s just for a few of days. If I can stand it so can you. I mean, don’t you want to have the poof grovelling and drooling over you. Just imagine him on his knees begging for you to come back to him and you telling him to get a life in front of the whole school.” Desperation was clear in his voice.

Images matching the description the blonde had made flashed before her eyes and she felt the overwhelming rush of power and vengeance course through her veins. She exhaled sharply and sat up on the bed.

“Ok! I’ll do it.” She agreed, causing Spike to sigh in relief. “But first you are definitely going to have to memorise my name. It’s Buffy. Get it through that bleached head of yours. Bu-ffy. It’s not that hard.”

He nodded and sat down on the bed next to her.

This story picks up at the end of season three in an AU summer where Willow works an internship at a dot-com. She bumps into Spike, gets Kidnapped, and held hostage for the Gem of Amara.

I’m foaming at the mouth for more of this fic. It has one of the best characterizations of Willow I’ve read. Elen doesn't romanticize the twisted relationship that forms between Willow and Spike. And it is twisted. I love how she gets the characters.  Just read the below example, what would Willow change, about herself or her life?

“ Make her a little more like her present day self. A little more confident. More sure of herself and what she wanted. There were things that she was sure she could improve on, or at least have enjoyed a lot more. Like finishing the curse to re-soul Angel before Drusilla killed Kendra, and Giles was tortured. Taking more study time for her SATs. Buying a Wonder Woman outfit from Ethan’s the Halloween when they turned into their costumes—she didn’t know if there was a Wonder Woman costume, but she had missed her chance to be a super hero. And number one, never, ever, try on formal wear in the same room as Xander Harris, setting in motion a cascade of lust, illicit kissing, and bad break ups.”

The above is so much Willow, more then even the show lets us see. 

If readers are put off by most Willow centric fiction, I can guarantee ‘Eighteen Days’ will be an exception. Elen has also a handle on her OC’s that can only be measured and compared with authors like Herself, Mustangsally, and Lovesbitca.

I could go on and on about what is so great about this story, but I would rather go read it again. Elen is phenomenally talented, and I hope readers inform her through feedback. Also give her story Odalisque ago.

Angelus gives his point of view of William being turned and the first few weeks of Vamp-William’s existence. It seams that poor William was having a hard time at it, being a vamp that is.

When strangers with a mysterious agenda kidnap Willow from the Bronze, Buffy is forced to chase after them to New Orleans, with an unwilling Spike along for the ride through the hot climate of the south. Did I forget to add, they were driving the Desoto cross-country with out air conditioning? This story takes place after season four but before season five begins. 

Eurydice is with out any doubt the best new Spike/Buffy writer on the net. Eurydice’s stories have few if any weaknesses. Just have a little taste. 

' "It was a lame excuse, but he was sticking with it for now.  Denial worked for him.  Especially when it came to thinking he could in any way be going soft.  On the Slayer.  It was bad enough wanting to shag her senseless every time he saw her.  Or smelled her.  Or thought about her.  He wasn't about to go adding wanting to kiss away her tears to the list as well.

Her scent came to him first, before he could even see her form, and Spike grimaced as his erection sprang to life beneath the black denim.  On second thought, maybe this road trip was a really, really bad idea.  He was going to be sporting a hard-on for the next few days with her smelling like that and being in touching distance.  And hard-ons and driving didn't mix.  Unless, of course, there was somebody attached to the other end of that hard-on.  A hot little mouth, or a Slayer straddling his lap, sliding up and down, all slick and warm, oozing down her thighs, and...

Fuck.  This was going to be a long trip." '

This reader was hooked on this story after reading just the second chapter. I want to see Buffy and Spike fighting the hot heat of the south. This fiction is still new (at the time this review was written), but I feel it can be remarkable. Hell, did you read the paragraphs above? Damn this story is hot.

Willow is kidnapped and held prisoner by an evil warlock sometime mid season six. The Scoobies and Spike must first find and then save her.

Prisoner is a dark story and explores the not so fluffy side of BDSM. It may not be for everyone. In fact, I had a hard time reading some of the scenes. After I read the first installment, I just could not get some of the images Ginny created out of my head. I made two wallpapers that were inspired by this story. 

' "Giles! You know that's not what I meant." Buffy fumed. "How...why...Why does she look happy?" The Slayer pled silently for them to tell her she was wrong, that she had misinterpreted the redhead's _expression. "She can't have gone with him willingly!"

"Buffy," Spike's gentle tone and his use of her name were so unusual that the Slayer knew instantly that she wouldn't want to hear this. "There's no reason to think Red chose this. She's been in that bastard Judson's hands for 6 months. That's enough time to break anyone, luv."

"No!" tears began to glisten in Buffy's eyes, "She's strong; she wouldn't give in!"

Spike interrupted, "Hunger, lack of sleep, humiliation and pain, mixed with just enough kindness to make her want to please him; it wouldn't matter how strong she was, pet. The right treatment will break anyone-make them eager to do anything to please the master. Believe me. Keeping a slave has never been a big thing for me, but I have had some experience with   training 'em. Assuming Judson knew what he was doing, Red was begging to please him after a couple of months at most." '

If you are looking for some well-written kink and are having problems finding the good stuff, well here it is. This story lacks the spelling and grammar problems that most adult and BDSM stories seam not to be able to shake. However, one thing it does not lack is a first-class plot and thought.

Spike and Dru's first visit to the city of New York in the winter of 1928 comes to life in this beautifully written story. Spike spends the first night out tasting what New York has to offer.

I fell for this story fast. The way the author describes New York City in the 1920's makes the vision open-up before the reader. I can just picture the flapper girls with their sliding down stocking and bobby cuts trying to stay warm in the snow. 

I could really feel Spike in this story. I asked myself how can Buffy resist this character/man, oh right the soulless killer thing.  Is it true all good girls want is a bad boy of their own? 

With out getting into the details of this story, it does show Spike's darker side, as he eats/fucks his way across the city. His bad side is balanced out with the short relationship with Garnetta, a blues singer he meets in a bar. The reader gets to see the man in the demon through this gentle moment. In the heights of their love-making Garnetta demands to "see it". Spike states, "See what? I'm naked, you've seen everything I've got-". This is my favorite line in the story. But it is true at this point in the story we the readers see the real spike (the vampire that can master his demon but not his heart).

If you are a Spike lover you must read this story and the rest of the series.

"Harbingers of Beatrice" by Holly   NC-17   Spike/Buffy     WWW/WWW   

In Harbingers of Beatrice, Wolfram and Harts attempts to reunite Angel and Spike to the fold of the Order is successful, and Buffy is not in the position to stop it.  In this AU season five, Holly drags the reader’s heart over broken glass. To say this fic is an angst fest is an understatement. I just love how Holly can keep me reading when she puts my favorite characters through hell.

‘ This time, she knew she was dreaming.

He stood in the doorway, shadowed by his own darkness. The figurative silhouette marking his undoing. His features remained blurred, either for the lack of convenient luminosity or the mask of tears that had long since dried and crusted under her eyes. She didn’t know. Had long since stopped caring. How much time had passed? Days? Weeks? Years?

Days. It was only days. Two or three at best. Likely three. Three sounded good. A sturdy, wholesome, reliable number. Three days since she saw him. Since he burst into the Bronze after his premature leave. Since he looked at her with such genuine regard to warn her of this. Of what it was. What was to come. ‘

Only Holly can serve up pain like this and keep this reader coming back for more.

Angel accidentally turns Buffy when she forces him to drink from her. This story answers the question of what would Buffy be like as a vampire with a soul and without.

I’ve not read this story in a long time and know it will not appeal to all readers, but for some reason I want to recommend it.  I think the best thing about this epic is readers can clearly see the progression of the writer. Also, it is fantastic to observe the Buffy-verse through the eyes of a guy (boys like big guns).

Tara and Spike find themselves becoming closer after Wrecked. Tara finds herself lonely after her split with Willow, and Spike is hurting from Buffy's rejection. 

I was a tad apprehensive to read this fiction when I saw the pairing. I mean who could believe little shy Tara and big bad Spike getting together? I could not really picture it until I read this fic. 

First off this story made me blush to the core. I could feel the heat to my cheeks as Spike made his proposal to Tara. Juliatheyounger  has kept the characters in characterization as will as helped them to grow a bit. Some may say that Tara does not have a personality to start out with. But Juliatheyounger has dug deep to pull individuality out of her. It has to be there somewhere, and isn't that what fan-fiction is all about? 

Now to the good part, Spike. Here the reader gets to see a softer side of him, but not a emasculated Spike. He may be hurting, but he is not overly weak. And it is nice to see the character of Spike through the eyes of Tara (the only Scooby other then Dawn that can except Spike's demon).

My favorite part so far is when Tara asks Spike to show her his game-face. He states, "There's not much really, human face me and vamp face me, they're both me. S'pose some would say, that my vamp face is the real me and the human face is my disguise. Others would say, that my human face is what I really look like. Dunno. They're both me". It makes me think what if Spike (the personality) is the disguise for William.

I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this story and believe it is worth your time to take a look at. It is much more then just smut.

Spike teaches Buffy what he can do with is mouth, no you dirty minded girls and boys. Spike has a way with words that has to be read. 

This is a short fiction, but it is worth the read. If you like to read the nasty or even hear it, this is the short for you. The "sorcerer with words" will turn you on and make the reader want more. Although the story is nasty (in that good way), it is very well written. I found no problems with is fiction, but I could have been to hot and turned on to really look.

Still Point picks up in the middle of ‘Chosen’, the never seen moment in the basement between Spike and his Slayer. 

The first and only ‘Chosen’ fic I read, and it set on my desktop for a week or two. I put off reading ‘Chosen’ and most season seven stories because it is just to painful. I prefer to live in denial. “What? Buffy’s not over goddamn it. Spikes not dead, he’s just sleeping” Enough about my problems back to ‘Still Point’. For one thing, this story is not painful to read. Spike’s inner monolog at the beginning has a dark humor to it. That alone had me laughing through my tears.  ‘Still’ Point may bring on the water works but only in the good way.  Try it on for size below.

‘ Hark. She comes.

He was on his feet and moving towards her before she was halfway down the stairs. Should have been a swell of music. Wagner and the Valkyrie. Because, hey, destiny and death calling.

Ah, but that's not 'til tomorrow, noon-ish.

Christ, but she's beautiful. Got that look about her, that presence of mind particular to her and her alone. He'd seen it before. More than resolve, more than determination - I may die, but there's no way in hell I'm gonna lose. It was the thing about her he loved most, and suddenly it was too much.

What to do with himself in these intervening hours? What would she do? What could they say to each other? He broke eye-contact first, glanced down at his feet, aware of their "aw shucks" shuffling on the cold concrete. ‘

The summer before Tara goes off to college in Sunnydale she runs into a devil in the woods next to her family’s property.  I love this look into Tara’s character. And readers get a lovely glimpse at the community she came from. Tara’s innocence naturally draws even the most evil creature closer.

‘ “I know what you are,” she informed him calmly, naturally, as if this were the way things were meant to be.

He cocked his head to one side as if she’d said the first really interesting thing he’d heard in years. And then, before her very eyes, his demonic features melted away, leaving only a man in its place. A man with snowy white hair, razor’s edge cheekbones, and the bluest eyes she’d ever seen.

…Beautiful…

“Better’n the rest of these wankers know, then, right luv?” He winked at her.

She started in surprise at that. She hadn’t really expected him to speak, to have an accent, to be anything…human. “They’re not too far off,” she countered. “They say you’re the devil.” ‘

Buffy falls down a rabbit hole and find she must face an unchipped Spike and an unsouled Angel.   I think this story is set sometime in season four. 

This fiction was written before season five (before Fool For Love), so the story is very AU. The author gives his/her vision of past Spike and Angelus ‘s relationship with a slayer thrown in for good measure.

‘Nunc scio quid sit Amor’ is one of my favorite fan fictions. Kismet may have guessed wrong, but he/she still wrote one hell of a story. It is dark and sexy. I so wish there was a follow-up (I can dream damn it). 

"By all the Devil in hell, this is Life, this is Blood, this is lust and hunger and craving....this is bloody sodding Blood of Christ ! Slayer blood, slayer blood, her blood....its like drowning and I don't want to save myself. Angelus, good God, do you know how it feels ?

I do. Like heat and warmth and excruciating, beautiful agony. The smell and the taste and the softness of her body with the dark red blood whizzing through all her veins and arteries, under this perfumed skin...like heaven."

I know if readers can get past the AU factor, they will love it too. Plus, I spent an hour trying to find a copy for you bitches (the copy at Dancing With Death is falling apart or something).

KJ Draft takes a different, much more darker look at season five where Riley stays in Sunnydale in hopes to patch up his relationship with Buffy.

There is something truly disturbing about this story. Why review it? Because girls and boys it’s disturbing. ‘Stale Cigarettes’ will move the reader to feel something. Can’t say what.

‘ Trying to adopt an air of nonchalance, Riley shoots another basket. Eighty... two? Or three? Dammit!! "You really saw her patrolling?"

"Let me guess, she left you behind."

"None of your business." Riley chucks the basketball and marches to the bench. Hauls Spike up by his collar.

Spike struggles for a moment then goes limp. "Why do you think she let me snog her?" he chokes out.

"I don't know." Not true. Riley heaves a sigh and relaxes his grip somewhat. "It's not *you*, Spike, she has a thing for vampires, she always has. She just won't admit it."

"And you think it's... what, gonna go away by itself?"

Riley grinds his teeth. Considers dusting Spike once and for all, in a decapitating sort of way. But if Spike were dead, would it change anything between Buffy and me?

He drops the vampire onto the bench and plops down beside him.

"Assuming you're right," Spike begins, straightening his clothes, "and it's not personal, then what have you got to lose? Let her get it out of her system." '

Also Spike gives off this sick crack dealer vive that makes the hair on the back of my neck rise. Can’t say I hate the feeling. Buffy’s characterization is almost a hint of season six Buffy. Which makes sense, with all the biting /blood drinking that went on in season five.  But I’m rambling. I love KJ’s writing and would read anything she writes even if there is a Riley on the bottom. One thing to add, If readers hate Riley, maybe this story is not for you.

This story is an AU season seven. Buffy runs with an artifact (the Tear) from Proserpexa's temple that cannot fall into the wrong hands. Spike goes after her. 

This story is a real emotional hell ride and a journey for both characters and readers. I do not want to give too much away. But this is a remarkable fic.

Just to let readers know this story will have you crying your eyes out at the end. I cursed Lara Dean-Brierley for a week after reading this thing (for making me cry). [ tissue warning ]

Spike waited a few moments, just to make certain she was really gone, then rose to his feet, shoving the wheelchair out of the way. He stretched his legs for a moment, then turned to the girl on his bed.

When he spoke, his voice dripped with sarcasm. "Great...I kill you and the Slayer cuts my balls off and makes me eat them."

Willow twisted her head and stared up at him with terror- filled eyes.

Spike crouched down next to her and untied the gag, then rolled her onto her side.

"You can walk," she stammered.

"Brilliant observation and you're the smart one, right?"

"What...what are you going to do with me?" she asked, trying to be brave.

"Not kill you, that's for sure."

What if Spike could not find a cure for Dru and he ends-up in Sunnydale with out her? What if Vamp Willow was not killed? This fiction answers all of those questions and wraps it in a entertaining story. 

Lisa Y. has a great imagination. All of her stories are original (or were at the time she wrote them) and on top of that, her dialog is great. She also does not over describe her settings. This story has a sequel that is a WIP.

Willow and Spike use a little something to get over their personal problems. Set in a AU season seven.

Where ‘Spike lips! Lips of Spike!’ makes sex in a public restroom seam hot and sexy, ‘The Mercy Seat’ ummm does not.  This story is a delightfully written train wreck.

It uses a slick sexual language but it is still dark and dirty under the surface. I think the authors have done a great job at not glamorizing the sex between Spike and Willow. Although this story is filled with sexual acts, the reader does not come away feeling shiny and clean.

This fic does leave this reader with the question who is using who? 

“Oh no, baby. Not everyone's had a ride, but that luscious blonde of yours certainly took me out for a spin once or twice.” Another sudden flare, but this time it was the flame from his cigarette lighter, as he dragged a lungful of smoke back down his throat, settling in for some torture of his own.

“I'm warning you...” began Willow weakly, knowing full well she wouldn't be able to stop whatever foulness he would manifest but hoping she could ride it out.

“Christ, I made a pig of myself on those gorgeous tits of hers. She was fucking magnificent. I couldn't get enough. What about you, Red? You a tit man? And her pretty, little cunt...so hot...so fucking wet! I barely had to touch her, and she was writhin' and moanin', screaming my name.” He spoke conversationally, quietly smoking his cigarette, sharing his supposed reminiscences of good times past.

“Stop it,” she pleaded, her voice the pathetic sound of a trapped animal to her own ears.

"The Hand That Wields The Scalpel" by Medea   R   Spike/Willow  WWW    

Willow Rosenberg is a physician in 1874 London. She is struggling to keep her medical practice afloat in a man's world. Her life is turned upside down after she treats a patient in the household of William Royce.

After I read the summery, I didn't think I would like this fic. It just sounded a little to Alternate Reality for even me. I am not big on the Victorian era either. 

But I was so wrong, this is an amazing piece of work by Medea. I was in love after the first paragraph. 

In fact the first page reminded me of another red headed physician we all know and love. Maybe I just miss the x-files to much. 

"This was simply another sign that she'd been spending too much time on autopsies lately. Here she was, dissecting a client's character as readily as she would a corpse. Perhaps it was a good thing that Guy's had no need of her tomorrow. A reprieve from the morgue would do her well. She was perhaps becoming a little too comfortable among the dead."

I can't wait for this story to be updated. I really want to see what William (Spike) has in store for Willow.

Spike journeys to LA in search of the Gem of Amara. Lilah makes a mistake and ends-up in a vampires hotel room. This story picks up right after Spike hires the vampire to torture Angel.

Hot, hot, hot, hot, did I say this story is hot? It takes two of our favorite villains and puts them together, and oh, they do so fit together nicely. Mmmmm, Miss Murchison has done one hell of a job. She has made this story seamless and totally believable.

' “You might,” she said, her lips moving very near his,“want some protection.”

He chuckled, his voice and posture radiating utter assurance.“Why would I need protection from that git?” he asked, moving his own lips so that they nearly brushed her mouth.

She pulled back just far enough to meet his eyes.“Because he’s a vampire,” she said, watching carefully for his reaction.

“Fancy that,” he said, and his yellow eyes stared into hers.

She tried to jump back, but his arms were around her, hard and strong and permitting no escape.  He shook his head, and his fangs and furrowed forehead disappeared as quickly as he had revealed them.  His blue eyes were smiling again, but this time she recognized that the capriciousness of a soulless killer was behind that humorous glance.  She froze in his embrace, damning herself for allowing this to happen.  It should have occurred to her that the vampire might have been meeting with another of his kind. '

I think I have to go read it again, damn it is hot. 'Pleasure before Pain' gives the reader a view of Spike before chip and soul, ah Spike when he was still bad.

A sequel to her story ‘Pleasure before Pain’, Spike stays in L.A. and isn’t chipped. He looks up Lilah for a Second Date. Set sometime early in season one Angel.  

Color me surprised when I a ran across ‘Second Date’. For some reason the idea of these two characters together are so hot. Miss Murchison could not resist playing with these two one more time. All I have to say is, yummy. Have a taste for yourself below.

‘ How nice. It’s so unusual to find a man who really tries to please you instead of making the evening all about what he wants. Lilah ignored George’s frantically pleading eyes and smiled into Spike’s game face. "Yes, please," she breathed, with a gentle, almost flirtatious sigh.

With a grin of pure pleasure, Spike buried his fangs into his victim, but kept his gaze locked on Lilah.

She stared into burning yellow eyes, and her tongue darted out to lick her lips as Spike drank from George’s throat. ‘

Set in season six right after ‘As You Were’, Spike has a surprise for Buffy that means the end for both of them.

This fic made me depressed the first time I read it, but for some reason it truly touched me. The desperation Spike uses to get what he wants, it is just so sad.’ Of Thorns and India Ink’ makes poetry of words, I must warn readers this story can break your heart. It contains character death and a side of Spike some may not want to see.

‘ The fingers of his right hand skimmed over her shoulder and down the length of her arm, lovingly... fingertips just barely touching, worshipping the sun-kissed flesh. She'd grown far too thin, but there was nothing for it, now.

Fingers curling around her wrist, he drew her arm up to him as he thumbed the straight razor open with his left hand.

He knew it was cowardly, doing it this way - especially considering the way he'd dispatched his other two slayers - but this... she. She had been special, from the very first. Different. Always different. It only stood to reason that such a unique slayer meet her end in a way that honored the way in which she'd lived... and lived... and lived’

What can I really say about this story? It is moving and I did not stop loving the character of Spike after reading it. I hope readers will give it a chance. Oh, and I love the title.

‘Spike lips! Lips of Spike!’ picks-up at the end of Willow’s my will be done spell at the end of ‘Something Blue’. Spike and Buffy find their feelings for each other extend after the spell. 

Seamless movement, the story just unfolds for the reader with out any snags to detract from the story. 

This is my favorite part:

‘ Spike stormed into the room, making her jaw drop. “What are you doing?!” She said, outraged. “This is the ladies washroom!” 
He came right to her and grabbed her by the upper arms, pulling her up. “Hello? I’m evil. I go where I want.” His voice grew husky. “I take what I want. And right now, I want you.” His mouth came down on hers, almost blistering in it’s intensity. Buffy felt dizzy. Her knees buckled, and she knew that if Spike suddenly let go of her she’d crumple like a rag doll.’

Mr. Monkeybottom has a great wit and talent for writing Spike and Buffy. Moreover, in this reader’s opinion she must be a god among writers to make a public restroom sexy. And this story is very very sexy. What you don't agree? All of her stories are both amusing and steamy damn it.

Buffy Summers, is a rich valley girl with a new Beamer, and is friends with only the right people. Spike, as he likes to be called, is a bad boy rocker with a broken heart and no were to call home. What would happen if these two collided head-on?  

Mmmmm, NautiBitz writes AU human. I think I have died and gone to a special heaven.  Okay, ‘In Heat’ has been my favorite fan-fiction since I first read it at ‘Dances with Death’. I was still new to fanfiction, and Nauti ruined me for any other author.  However ‘Crash and Burn’ may take the crown. 

This fiction is real slow foreplay. It is a big tease, so if you don’t like the slow burn I recommend waiting until the story is complete. Me on the other hand, is foaming at the mouth (and touching myself under the computer desk) waiting for the next chapter. I think I will go read it again.

First, I do not want to give the surprise away and holy crap there is a big surprise for Buffy.  "Have Mercy" is wicked and fun at the same time. Here is a tiny little taste, to much will give it away:

' She mused, “Is that a cucumber in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?” She felt the head of his cock through layers of fabric and gave it a little pinch, causing him to jerk and whimper. PaganBaby is a new author for me, and I’ve had a great time working my way through all of her/his fictions. How do I say this sow it comes out right? PaganBaby not only writes very original fiction like this 'Shower Interruptus', she/he also takes storylines that have been written before (or better said storylines that have been beaten to death), and adds something new. More importantly the stories are well written. I am impressed by the growth of this author and can’t wait to read more.

 I find the whole imagery of the SITs and Andrew sitting in the Summer’s living room discussing, well what they are discussing, hilarious. This story is comical and blisteringly hot at the same time.

Buffy Summers is a senior at Sunnydale High with a crush on her hot English teacher Mr. Williams. This is a Fantasy AU human fiction.

This story started out as simple smut, but it has truly come into its own in the last three parts. The first part explores the relationship between an 18-year-old high school student and her 30 something English teacher. These early entries Pepperlandgirl glosses over any ethical issues for the immediate pleasure. Oh, baby there is lots of pleasure to be had. Mr. William’s not only teaches young Buffy how to diagram a sentence, he gives her one on one tutoring in light BDSM and role playing.

‘ Both of them were forced to lean against the wall for several seconds to catch their breath. They helped each other straighten their clothes and hair, until they looked presentable.

"Do I look like I just went down on my English teacher?" Buffy asked.

This story shows readers a passionate and very sexual William. ‘A Night on the Town’s William is not the meek submissive William most authors write, although the character still has a humble and shy soul. Perletwo should be proud of this little fic.

In this epic, Angel and Spike perform a soul restoration in 1907 giving  the worlds vampires a soul there by changing the future. Vampires become part of human society and try to get legal recognition. 

I have a like/ dislike reaction to this series. The plots alone make these fics worth the read, each story become more and more inventive. Philip S. has created an amazing alternate reality. Buffy and the crew fight for vampire rights, put a vampire cult in its place, and keep Heaven and Hell from coming to earth. My favorite is the ass kicking they deliver to Golgotha. The characters are plucked right out of  Joss's World and woven into Philip's Soul-world. The characterization holds true even when characters are put in different times and places.

So, what is the dislike then? It simply lacks an adultness that I prefer. Out of the whole series, there is not one sex scene. I know. What am I a 14-yaer-old boy? No, I just think it is important to fiction about vampires. Hell, it (sex) is the reason I got into vampires in the first place. And my god it is the only reason I started to read fan-fiction.

Although, the series is not chocked full of meaningless sex scene after sex scene. Soul-world V is quite dark. It is not a story for the faint of heart.  And, Soul-world V is why this series is getting high marks  from this reader. I hope Soul-world VI, which is coming soon, will explore more of this darkness I know Philip S. can express.

Spike decides to introduce Buffy to Internet porn. The Slayer finds herself enjoying it more than she could have imagined. This fic is a sequel to Pipergirl’s ‘The Healing Pool’, but readers don’t have to have read it before taking on this one. It may be little more than a PWP but it’s a good PWP.

‘ Buffy’s breath caught as the movie started smack dab in the middle of a sex scene. She’d expected... What had she expected? Plot? Maybe. A slow lead in? Definitely. What she hadn’t expected was the clip to start off with the camera zoomed in on a woman’s pussy as it was being slammed by a very large penis.

Ok, I *should* be grossed out really, I should. But she wasn’t. She’d never been more turned on in her life as she was right at that moment, watching strangers screw each other silly as she sat on a vampire’s lap, as he groped and licked her.

And as Buffy just learned plot is sometimes over-rated.

Buffy ends-up with a special ring sometime in the time frame of early season five. An ethical dilemma falls into her lap along with this charmed ring; oh will Buffy do the right thing?

If you are a fan of NautiBitz (this fic has the same lightness to it that NautiBitz's stories also have) or miss the blissful happy Spike/Buffy fiction that died out after Seeing Red, this story is for you. 

This is one happy customer.

' Buffy felt a shock of adrenaline. Suddenly, she was acutely aware of the glimpses of Spike’s skin between the scraps of T-shirt, his hands touching hers, his mouth just inches away. She yanked her hands away and hastily smoothed the front of her pink silk blouse.

“Okay, well,” she said in a rush, “I guess we’d better get that ring off you, huh? Because as long as you’re wearing it, you’ll do whatever I tell you. Ha! Ha! And that would be bad, right?” '

The ending is magnificent. Spike is so evil. I love evil Spike. Part of this reader wants a sequel, but I think the ending is so fantastic a sequel may not work. Damn, what happened during that missing thirty-two hours?

This story can’t be summed up without difficulty.  It involves subject matter that may repel some readers like the fact it’s a Spike/Dawn story and takes place during season six sometime after Wrecked. If that hasn’t chased readers off, the title suggests it all.

It was Dawn. Her long hair was dishevelled, and by the look of the red welt on her cheek, one of the vampires had slapped her. Her sun dress had a big grass stain across the front. Her eyes widened when she saw Spike, then closed with relief. How the living hell did she get here? Was she following him? He knew she’d been complaining of being left out of the Scooby adventures, but would she really be this stupid? The answer to that was right in front of him. “What’s in her mouth?” Spike heard himself ask.

Buffy and Spike get stranded on a desert isle after their cruise ship goes down. Our slayer and favorite vampire must first survive nature and then each other.

This story is possibly RipeWickedPlum's masterpiece. Castaway is just damn creative. Lets take a master vampire and the greatest Slayer and put them on a desert island and see what happens. I feel like I'm in Anthropology Class. The author delivers this story handsomely. 

Readers will fall in love with the setting, and more importantly the relationship between Buffy and Spike. I don't know how RipeWickedPlum balances the sheer loving parts to their relationship with the animalistic/ lustful parts, but hell it works.

There is also an evolution that the characters go through., the environment changes both vampire and slayer. Spike and Buffy are forced in to different surroundings and life or death situations with only each other to lean-on. And as the plot rolls along, the reader just knows they will get off the island which leads to the question how will that change them and their relationship? 

Well, that was what I was thinking after I read the first part.

Dru, needing to heal from the burns Angel inflicted on her, spends some time in Haiti to recover. On the Island, she discovers a long loss brother.

‘ She found him finally on the other side of the square, watching from the shadows an impromptu dance that had started around a cluster of street musicians. Their dusky bodies shone in the streetlights, their brightly colored clothes flashing. Birds of paradise preening and posing for potential mates, but drawing the eyes of predators as well.

He was hungry. ‘

Set right after “Fool for Love”, Spike pig-nappes Mr. Gordo, and precedes to sexually assault the poor virginal piggy. However, what happens when Buffy finds out?

' Buffy screamed.

Spike lunged.

"MR. GORDO?"

Eyes burning, Buffy reached down and picked up the oldest link to her childhood. The stuffed animal that her parents had given her for her first birthday.'

This is a very comical story and surprisingly not as sick and perverted as the plot sounds. It is a must read for Mr. Gordo fans. I don't think this story is for every reader (not for the kiddies or the stuff animal lovers) but it is funny and inventive.

The story takes place after Tabula Rasa (season 6 ). The forgetting spell that Willow cast was never broken. Buffy and Spike still believe they are Randy and Joan. 

I adore the idea of this story; it is so creative, inventive, and not been over-done. The "Randy + Joan 4 Ever" is not NC-17, but the author implies just enough to let my dirty imagination to kick-in to over drive.

The author/Steph also has given Spike/Randy this Victorian sensibility that is charming and pulls at the readers heart. It is like she has stripped lairs of Spike away an at the core is an innocent (William). This new look at Spike changes when he sees the scar on Buffy/Joan's neck (and later on when he reads about mating). 

The only problem with this fiction is that the ending leaves readers with to many unanswered questions. I feel myself wanting to know what happens when Spike and Buffy do get their memories back? Buffy and Spike are now mated. There is just so much fun that could be had with this story yet.

Spike, making a run to the local ‘Quickie Mart’ for lighter fluid, runs into the newly made Dawn. This encounter could very well be the first between Spike and ‘the Key’ in its human state.

This adult comity answers the question of, why did that strange friendship between Spike and Dawn arise in early season five.

‘ "I'm bored," she said. "What are you doing?"

He took a step closer and narrowed his eyes as he looked down at her. "Kidnapping little girls and selling them to demonic cults who cut out intestines and wear them as jewelry - Ow!" he shouted as a tiny finger connected with his sternum.

"I heard my sister say that you're impotent," she said bluntly. "Does that mean your thing doesn't work?"

His mouth dropped open. "My thing works just fine!" He put his hands up, clenched into a claw, wishing he could strangle her. "When I get this chip out of my head, I'm going to kill you and violate your corpse. Then we'll see who's impo - Ow!" ‘

Spike’s little rant at the beginning is just priceless, and the food related nicknames for Dawn are hilarious. My favorite was ‘McNugget’.

‘Fire and Stuff’ is a Spike and Dawn friendship fic that everyone can truly find irresistible. It’s sweet even with all that violating of corpses talk.

Newly turned Spike finds there are other ways to be punished other than pain. His resistants to pain leads Angelus to become inventive with a new way to brake the young Will.

What can be said about this fiction other than, Angelus has a stripped naked Spike in chains. Mmmmm, Angelus has six days to get Spike to "truly submit". Great characterization in this work especially when Angelus gets drunk and brakes into the Brogue. Favorite parts of the story would be when Spike is plagued with dreams. This is only a short paragraph, but it drew this reader in. "...Demons with hot, wet mouths and tongues that wriggled just out of reach...," the image of the 'Garden of Earthly Delights' by Bosch flicker in the minds eye with all its sex and monsters. 

Damn, I love Bosch. 

Back to the story, The story is incomplete, but it gives hints to what is to come. Angelus states he will brake Spike in six days, but from the title the reader knows it takes a seventh night. 

If this story does not work the reader into a frenzy, you may be dead already ,mate. 

This is a recommended fiction even though it is incomplete. With some constructive feedback maybe Vic will finish it.

Get inside of Buffy’s head as umm, Spike gets inside of her. I know that was bad. Set during the now famous catwalk scene in ‘Dead Things’, Buffy’s inner monolog gives readers a blow by blow account of umm the experience.

That whisper. That cold whisper against my ear that sends a chill down my spine and makes me hot all at the same time.

He knows it.

Maybe rejection is his thing. I dunno, but something works. Maybe it's just me. Him knowing that I'm not going to resist him, like always. Maybe he likes public places. All I know is that he's pressing the hard sign of his arousal into the small of my back, letting me know what his intentions are.

Looking for some dark erotic, ‘He Knows’ could be the right fix. Yummm, public sex, how can that be wrong or dirty, even good girls do it.

Blazing Sun is an AU human story. It’s set in 1917 during World War one in the once Ottoman Empire. Elizabeth Summers Giles, an American spy, joins forces with a Lieutenant William Crawford trying to ensure a victory in the Suez Canal. 

‘ When she returned fifteen minutes later he was sitting on a small crate, a towel wrapped around his waist, the mirror in his lap and the razor in his hand. Although he was certainly better, he was still shaking with exhaustion. For the second time she took the razor from his hand.

 

“We really must stop meeting like this, pet. People are going to start talking,” he said, sarcastically.

 

She, of course, said nothing.

 

“You’re an unusual bird, Hessa,” he said thinking out loud as she moved behind him and tilted his head back so that it leaned against her stomach. As she lathered his face up with soap he continued, “Beautiful green eyes. Don’t think I’ve actually been able to look at a woman’s eyes since I came to play in this little sandbox. Haven’t seen many women, period, come to think of it. God I miss the smell and feel of a woman-”  ‘

A road trip epic were Tara and Spike need to get away from Sunnydale. Set in season six after the badness of "Dead Things".  The plot has twists and turns and great development. Readers won't expect what is coming. 

She hadn't expected him to be dressed, knowing he'd only worn his jeans and then the sweatpants to make her feel more comfortable in their shared motel beds, but, as always, his nudity surprised and captivated her. Tara stepped closer and reached out, tentatively at first but with increasing resolve, and pulled the remaining folds of cotton from his body. In the mellow glow that seeped through the thin curtains he didn't look cold or dead at all; not like ivory or alabaster as he sometimes did in artificial lighting or under the moon. From the dusting of hair on his legs to his muted, male curves, from sleep-rounded muscles to tousled white curls still damp from the shower, he looked ... soft. Supple. Touchable.

Her hand inched from the sheet to his skin, fingertips feathering his bicep. Made brave by his tranquillity, she knelt at his side and ran her fingers between his shoulder blades. She shuddered with arousal as she traced his spine down to his lower back, her hand opening to cup his hip. Spike bent his knee and flexed against the mattress, arching into her touch, and her hand slid into the crease between his thigh and belly where coarser hairs tickled her fingers.

"Wstgfl," he mumbled, sending a waft of raw alcohol fumes into the room.

Zyrya has a great writing style which gives the reader a true sense of voyeurism. And the ending damn. I don't want to give it away, but the e-mail  (sent to Tara) made my mouth hang open. How could he? Also read Zyrya's other story Crash.
