FALL BONANZA A MEGA-SUCCESS

Well it had been a while since a big game, but T3 Showed no rust on the field!  The first game pitted the Team against five worthy opponents.  Alas, the team came out on top with no casualties!  This was a great victory for T3.  After this extreme competition, T3 and 5 guests played a mixed recreational game to "cool down".  The guests were then treated to a free lunch hosted by T3.  It consisted of finely grilled hotdogs, sodas, and snacks.
After the barbeque, the team played a rather odd scenario game involving a nearly indestructible player on each team and several small shoddily designed flags.  This game ended in a bout of confusion, with a stalemate.
After this fiasco, we played what was to be the crowning jewel of the Fall Bonanza game.  Inspired by Quake III Rocket Arena, the players created an intense game we call "The Gauntlet".  The gauntlet is a measure of skill like no other.  A pair of two or three man teams are locked in combat in a VERY small taped off area.  The entire field of play is no more than 50 ft x 50 ft.  Two referees scan for safety and fairness as players fight to destroy the opposing team within the hasty 5 minute time limit.  Play is only stopped to remove those combatants who have been tagged out.  This is continued tournament style in double elimination format.  If in the end the leading team is undefeated, they must face all of the participants at once in a commando style match.  Then, and only then, is the team proclaimed winner of the Gauntlet.

The results for the gauntlet were:

Rung One:
Paul and Chris defeated Dan, Tim, and Matt
Greg and Jordan defeated Paul and Chris
Rung Two:
Paul and Chris eliminated Dan, Tim, and Matt by a Timeout
Greg and Jordan eliminated Paul and Chris via forfeit
Final Rung:
Greg and Jordan won the Gauntlet
through a Timeout in a commando challenge vs. Dan, Tim, Matt, Paul, and Chris

Overall, the day was lots of fun.  This was the most games we've played at our facilities at a total of 8 games.  T3 came out on top in the first challenge, and Greg and Jordan reinforced their status as "Commandos"
We would like to thank our guests for participating in this outstanding event.

Preparations for 29 SEPT 02 game

All the cleaning and working will soon pay off at what looks like the largest game hosted by T3. Over 10 players are expected to join in the fun at our field. Lunch will be provided at 12:00 after our first two warm up games. T3 Chef Kulmann will be preparing his specialty: Hotdogs. In preparation for the game, T3 Members Chris and Jordan fixed the table and raked out the staging area. They also put up caution tape around the staging area to warn players of their position. We are all looking forward to a great day of paintball filled fun! For Details about the game, feel free to E-mail the team @ T3Team@T3PaintBall.com

July 7-10,15 2002 Field Cleanup/Renovation

Soon after our July 6th game, T3 members Zach, Chris, and Jordan realized that the field and staging area were in desperate need of a cleanup. So these members went to work. The first job tackled was cleaning and updating the staging area for shorter down time between games. Fallen leaves from Autumn were raked up and loose wood from the old boat was moved to the wood pile.  The old table built in June 27, 2001, which started to warp, was replaced by a more permanent structure. The last improvement to the staging area was the conversion of an old 50 gallon drum to a fine cooking machine. With a little sand, some rocks, gravel, and a grate from the old table this former trash can is now able to provide paintballer's with excellent cooking power. Chris is now T3's Official Chef. Because of our new cooking facilities, buckets of water we needed in the staging area. So with a little ingenuity we built a bench with the ability to store the buckets inside. As for the field, a new ÜberBunker was added, and the path to the field was cleared of large rocks.

July 6th 2002 Paintball Game

It is has been a while but we have finally hosted a proper Paintball Game. A total of 8 people were present. After dealing with lost masks and empty Co2 tanks, we were able to play 2 excellent games.  In addition to playing, we also cleaned up the staging area and field. Two bunkers were added and photographs were taken to update the About Us and Equipment  sections of this web page. Also, team members talked about constructing an Urban Environment in a section of our field not currently in use. No real plan were drawn up, but support for the project was high. Check back here for updates on this project.

October 20th 2001 Paintball Game

Since July 2nd  T3 hasn't had a large game. Sure we've had a few here and there, perhaps only with 5 or 6 people in attendance. But on October 20th we had our first big game since school started. In preparation for this game we have cleaned up the field and staging area. Also a new fort was added and more tables were annexed in the staging area. During the course of the day we played over 5 games, each lasting over 1 hour, and had 10 people total in attendance. This by far has been our largest game played on our home turf. Three T3 members also took the "Commando Challenge" and played against the remaining 7 players in a death match. The Commandos came out on top and were honored greatly by their fellow team mates. Also during this game, Paul was named the MVP. To view Paul, and past MVP winners, click Here.

July 2nd 2001 Paintball Game

Our First Cannon War and 1 vs. 1 Tournament was excellent. With over 4 hours of game play and over 4 new game types played, the 7 warriors which attended this game are the new elite. Gettysburg, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, and 1 vs. 1 tournament were just a few of these games. Also with our new cleaned up facilities, down time was cut down from hours to minutes. During this game we also took pictures, so to see them go to the Pictures Section of this page above. Results of the 1 vs. 1 tournament are as follows.
1) Greg
2+3) Jordan vs. Bob
3) Chris
Although the tournament was ended prematurely, these are the current standings and are subject to change. Also the MVP chosen for this Game was Joe for his outstanding effort and for wearing the Youth in Action Shirt.

June 29 2001 Clean up/face lift

We had a great time working and laboring of Fort Erickson. After many attempts to finish the fort, we ended up building a cannon. During our Game on the 2nd we used the cannons in the Fort and on our Rock Hill. To see pictures of our cannon click Here.

June 27 2001 Field/Trailer Clean Up

After Hours of work and hard labor the T3 members have brought our facilities to  a new high. Zach, Chris, Max, Tim, and Jordan all participated in this event. The guys raked all the leaves away from the trailer and moved the old boat and wood pile away from the trailer. Also work was started on Fort Erickson which was destroyed by hoodlums! If you have any information about these activities please e-mail me at Webmaster@T3Paintball.com. A great sign/target was designed, assembled, and painted by Max and Chris. Also a table and gun storage rack was built by Zach and Jordan to replace the old wood pile. Future plans were drawn up for member storage lockers and more targets.

June 15-16 2001 Paintball Game

The first overnight game held was a great success. We had 8 people attending at a time and 2 new players Matt and Skip. Nice playing Guys! This weekend we held over 6 games including 1 dawn game and for the first time a "Charge Game". During this game all player were not allowed to hide behind obstacles and had to charge their opponents over a field. This game type was thought up by Zach. Great Game! Also we cleaned up the trailer we use for down time. This Project was headed by Zach and Jordan, Tim, and Skip all helped out. This weekend's MVP title was awarded to Tim for overcoming his fear of being shot and giving his all for the team. To view past MVP's click Here
