Background/History:
Her father was an escaped Nazi scientist living in Chile. He married a local and
continued his robotics research in secret. Rebecca was a smart girl and took
after her father in intellect, interest in robotics, and evil. He encouraged her
in all of those ways, teaching her in private to follow in his footsteps. She
was an apt pupil and exceeded his genius, advancing from robots to androids that
could mimic the powers of others. After his death to finance her research, she
joined up with Ravenshadow, a group of international financiers and mercenaries
dedicated to taking over the world. She gained their confidence and worked her
way up in power and prestige within the hierarchy of the leaders. Then, she
turned on them, assassinated the leaders, replaced them with her androids, and
gave herself complete control of the organization to do whatever she wished.
Eventually, her bigger and more grandiose schemes brought her into conflict with
superheroes like the Protectors, especially Speed, who she seems to delight in
tormenting. She even attacked him during his wedding. Due to the numerous times
she has been captured only to be revealed as an android, usually the exploding
kind, there are rumors that she is not Dr. Schmit’s daughter, but an android
creation of his own.
Personality/Motivations:
Raised to be a Nazi, she hates virtually everyone and considers them beneath
her. She seems unfocused at times, as though she may be acting randomly as
opposed to enacting some master plan.
