Statement of Purpose

This website was created to complement The Gifted Child bulletin board of www.parentsplace.com.  Many parents of gifted children participate on this board, seeking friendship, advice, and support from other parents who share in the joys and challenges of raising a gifted child.  We noticed that many parents visit our board asking similar questions—thus this Frequently Asked Questions site was born!  We hope that it will provide some answers for newcomers, and that you will feel free to post whatever questions you may have on our bulletin board.  Welcome!
