I'm a fairly "old" netizen. Not so far back that I was on the usenet, but before it was really the world wide web.
One thing that people did when they first put up websites is that they would put up any links they like. It didn't matter whether it had anything to do with the subject matter of their particular website. It was interesting. You could truly "surf" the net that way. So these links are links I like. I can't vouch for what they put on their sites. They might change things after I put up their links.
