Date : June 16,2013   HI TOM & JERI, I just wanted to say thank you for my puppy Lucian.I was looking to get a GSD from a breederI I could trust a " reputable breeder ".I new I wanted to purchase from you after the first conversation we had.You answered every concern & health testing question I needed answered about the parent dogs. You also offered me up the best of advice on care and training.Your experience with the GSD breed and education in the field was very helpful.Lucian is now 9 weeks old.He has been housebroken since 8 weeks old,and he is astonishingly smart for how young he is,comes on command, and releases on command almost always already.......We just started this new trick. He is healthy , got his next round of vaccinations at the vets . He is already 17 lbs.!!!! Thanks again for all you do.I,ve included some pictures & will keep you updated on your 4 legged Grandson every so often.Keep doing what your doing because dogs like Lucian are hard to come by. JUNE 7,2012                 Hi Jeri, I was thinking about you today & wondered how you were doing? I thought I would send you some pictures of your grandpuppy, hard to believe that he is going to be 2 in a couple of weeks.I just wanted to let you know that your puppies are everything and more that you have promised us. He has been the addition to our family that we were looking for, from the gentle giant to the great protector. We are forever amazed at his abilities to be Sonja,s rough house playmate and yet be gentle playmate with Kahia. His intelligence is immeasurable to say the least. We cannot express just how thankful we are to have him.As you can tell by one of the pictures he loves grooming Moo,he is forever doing her hair for her and Kalia will always be off to the side to make sure that he is doing it right or she will tell him what is wrong. [ Poor Moo ], she really doesn't have a choice in the matter but goes along with it willingly. If you feel like using these pictures on your website please feel free to do so, he is a true testament of your breeding program. Bless you and may all be well with you.  SHANNON DUNCAN - [ LTVFD ]

JUNE 6Th,        Hello Jeri, Here are pictures of Dylan for you to choose from. Some were taken on Mothers Day.He is completely  " housebroken ".No accidents for a month. He sits, and is learning sit-stay.He will "drop it " on command, which is very useful when he picks up my son's socks or other thinging we don't want chewed up.I never new how vocal German Shepherds are.He practicely talks to us.Of course, we have to figure out what he wants.I don't mean "barking ",but whinning. We have a great time playing hide and seek.He can steal the basketball while i'm dribbling it, and play keep away with it. Everyone loves him and we are very happy with him. He's between 35 to 40 lbs. now & just beautiful,as you can see. I'm using a simple camera now because my "zoom " one is broken.I'm not the best photographer yet but I was hoping to get better. But it's a lot trickier with a simple camera. Especially as the puppy won't hold still! Later Patty Barrett

MARCH 27,2012                                                                              Hi Jeri, The pups love going to the reservoir and playing frisbee.Dexter goes after the first throw and Gunther runs for the 2nd.Dexter will go forever: but when Gunther is done he lays down in the grass and stays put!At last weigh in ,Gunther was 50ish pounds and Dexter around 60 lbs..It's funny because even though Dexter is tall and lean with long legs, he and Gun are almost indistinguishable because of Gunther's soliness. Gunther's coloring is so cool--lots of salt and peper and sable. It makes his face look so soulful and sweet. And he is such a sweet boy.The other day Matt was rubbing Gunther's muzzle and he fell asleep with his little face in Matt's hands. He does do one evil shepherd trick:He clamps onto poor Dexter's butt and hang's on!Dexter goes nuts turning in circles.                                                                           Hope your pack is thriving-  ,Thanks again for a great little pup. MARCH 29,2012         Hi Jeri, So you were up at 2:00AM with a grand baby, and I was up at 3:oo AM with 4 legged baby Ziva. [ takeing her out for potty ].She surprised me, I brought her to her area [ on leash ] and told her " potty " so she peed twice. We left her area [ to go back in the house ],but she laid down and whined, then turned around and went back to her area and pooped . WOW! I bought a bell that hangs on the door, and am going to teach her to ring it when she wants to go potty. As SOON AS IT WAS PUT ON THE DOOR,she started playing with it.I had taught our [ MINPIN ] Gemma to ring a desk bell, but then she was constantly ringing it [ just to go out and Play ],so I finally had to take it away. LOL  Ziva might use it to play with too......we'll see-  I just can't believe how smart she is! It's been 38 yearssince I had a pup like this [ that was a German Shepherd /Irish Setter mixed boy, that was extremely smart ].Without Hardly -ANY EFFORT, Ziva has learned sit, down, wait [ I go in and out of the house first, then invite her to follow ],and she comes when called. I'm working on "drop it " and she will drop whatever... for that itty bitty little taste of hot dog! Sincerely Corrine

4/18/2007 - Dear Jeri, First thing I want to say is Thank You. What a great addition to this family he has made. The first night was a little rough but we made it. The second night was like he been here forever. He has made a total change since we picked him up from you on Monday, meaning that he has adjusted to the house and the family like you would not believe, In the house he has no fears and runs and plays with the kids like he's known them forever. The back yard is still a big place for him and he will only go as far as he feels he needs to go for now but that will come in time. As far as the potty training he has been doing very well he has had a few accidents but not all his fault. I think that we just had to figure him out. We now know that when he goes to the door we only have a few seconds. I just want to say thank you and your husband for all of your time and information that you gave us and for helping us making the right decision. You don't have no clue on the relief that this puppy has given us in the lose of are beloved Kaia. He will never take the place of her but he will fill are hearts with new memories and joyfulness. I could go on forever and forever but this has been only 2 days. As I write this email he is sound asleep on the floor right in the middle of us. We had company last night with about 6 people here and he acted like he was king .( HE HAS NO FEARS ) I guess we all learn by our mistakes. ( RACHEL ) I almost forgot the most important thing we named him ROCKY. I think we are go to register him as Tori's Shakespeare Black Rock. I know once we get into a bigger house and bigger yard that we would love to buy another beautiful pup from you if that would be okay with you. Well I just wanted to let you know that your baby was doing great and that he was adjusting just fine. I will get you pictures soon and Laura is going to make him a vet appointment for next week. Once again Thank You For This Great Puppy Sincerely, E.J. , Laura, Aidan,Samantha and ROCKY

9/21/2007 - Hey Jeri It was such a pleasure to meet you and your dogs Saturday. I hope all is well with with your family and all the babies. I was wondering about protecting Bruiser (aka boy puppy) from fleas, ticks and mosquitoes when he comes home with us. Should we treat the yard or the puppy at such a young age? Talk to you soon Liz Jimenez

Linda is a Detective for Joliet P.D.,IL.

6/11/2007 - Hi Jeri--just seeing how things are going. Trip is doing fantastic. Growing like a weed. I will be taking him in this week to the vet to get weighed so I can get this month's heart worm pill--he a moose though!! He's been teething for about a week, but doing fine with it. He's been in obedience class for a month--an hour a week. We take a walk every night to practice heeling, sitting and staying. At least 3-4 times every day we get stopped by people who just love on him!!! He has friends all over the neighborhood and everyone comments on how calm he is!! No jumping on people or acting crazy. Little kids come up to him all the time and he is so good with them. Both ears flop to the same side and it makes him totally adorable. I do have a quick question--I got his registration papers and it says that his offspring is not eligible for registration. Is that changeable by you? Or is that permanent? If its not changeable I may just go ahead and get him fixed while he's still a puppy. Just let me know. I hope everything is going good for you--I saw the new puppies on your site--makes me want another one!!! They are beautiful. But I guess my hands are full with this one for now. We leave for vacation in a couple of weeks--my parents can't wait to see him. Well, that's about it for now--I do have some new pictures, I'll send you the link. If you respond to it respond to this e-mail address. If you just reply to the link I don't get the message. Take care--Hope everything is good with you--Linda and Trip

3/27/2007 - Hi Jeri,Just wanted to send an update about Majerle. We get compliments on her all the time on how "regal" she looks. I would be flattered to have her pics on your website! She has just mastered going down stairs and is fully housebroken. She still sleeps in her crate in our room at nite and she is in it when we are not home. She is truly a dream and makes me feel so happy. I am so thankful that we found you and were able to get her - she lifts my spirits. I am still tired, but have finally finished my treatments this past month. I am looking forward to getting Majerle leash trained so we can hit the trails. Are you still planning on doing the obedience training in the summer? We would love to do it if you are... I am happy everything worked out for her sister. Hope all is well w/you! Deena

9/20/2007 - Hi Jeri: Hope all is going well with you and your family. Things here are good. It's been a while since I gave you an update so I thought I would let ya know how Mierra is doing. She is turning out to be a lovely pup. Her temperment is very good and I've been socializing her every chance I get. She's been going with me everywhere since she was 8 weeks old. She has a very outgoing personality and a strong will. Not easily spooked. She graduated puppy kindergarden a few months ago and I plan to get her involved in pre-agility. No serious jumping just teaching her the mechanics of it. I am excited about October because I am taking her to southern Ohio to work with a gentlemen by the name of Ivan Balabanov. He has a very good training program and has competed in National events. Mierra has very good prey drive and I am still trying to develop it to her full genetic potential. Her grip is pretty good. I think she has the genetics for it I just have to teach her to grip with a full mouth. She is finishing up teething. All the puppy teeth are gone and shes almost got all her adult teeth. One thing.. she has a slight umbibical hernia. Not real bad maybe the size of a dime. I'm monitoring it when we go to the vet. I've attached a few photos... based on what she looks like now can you predict what her coat will look like as an adult? She seems to have a black "blanket" as appose to the classic saddle. also do you think her coat will fill out. I noticed Ramsey started to get a full tail and he started to develop almost like a Mane like a lion. Best way I can describe it. Also would you have Rena's full pedigree in digital format. I've been doing more research on Mierra's pedigree. I find it interesting to see what kind of bloodlines she came from.. God Bless You,

2012-TORI'S MARA-UPDATED PHOTO
torisstrikenrenadaughter.jpg

9/26/2007 - Hi Jerri, How are you? I’ve wanted to get in touch with you for weeks now. I’m sorry my work schedule has been has been more Demanding than usual. I need to make an appointment to come by with Mara. We need to re insert her chip. Also I would like to talk to you about Obedience training. She is just the best dog in the world. From the day I brought her home I’ve been amazed at her intelligence and delighted with Her demeanor and relaxed and friendly attitude. I have taken her with me everywhere that I possibly can. I work out of my home Most days so she is with me constantly. I had taken her with me down to Decatur for a family reunion in early July. She loves traveling, And being around people. Everyone who has met her can not believe that she is just a puppy, because of how well behaved and relaxed She is. We have been to the beach 4 or 5 times now. She loves romping in the sand surf and she is a great swimmer. She especially Loves playing and stalking in heavy vegetation. I took her camping last month to Turkey Run. She loves the out doors. She is so well Behaved that I never had to put her on a leash. She romped and played in the woods around our camp site and always stayed with in Ear shot. If I lost sight of her all I had to do is mention her name or even just say “ ok where are you?” and she would immediately Come bursting out of the brush and run back to me. From day one she has come to me as soon as I call her. She seems to understand so much and learns so quickly. If I see her doing Something that I don’t like I just tell her to stop and she does. If I see her chewing on a stick or something I just say in a normal tone Of voice, “no Mara don’t chew on that” and she stops right away. She is very athletic. I’ve been taking her jogging with me and my girl friends GSD who is 4yrs old. We take it easy on her because she is so Young. We run ½ mile then walk a ¼ and alternate like that for about 4 miles. She gets along fine with other dogs, but is still protective and barks a warning if she sees anyone or any dogs walking by in the neighborhood. I’ve been working on getting her to stop barking the first time I tell her to. She always likes to get in the last word (bark). I sometimes have to visit construction sites for my work and I’ve been taking her with me. She stays where I tell her, So I can have her wait for me in a safe place on the site until I finish my work, which is usually not very long, less then an hour. She loves traveling in the car, and I can make quick stops while she waits patiently in the back seat of the car .She doesn’t make a peep While I’m gone even if another car parks right next to mine and people come and go right outside my vehicle. Well, I can go on and on about her.MARA  is all grown up now & has a new little charge to tend too .I now have a Grand Child- MARA has uncorruptable nerve & is Super Gentle with my now 18 month old Grand Baby . I’ll continue singing her praises when I see you. Please contact me so I can make an appointment to come and see you. Thanks, Terry Jobbe
