I dedicate this site to our Ice hockey team "Tre Kronor" (Three Crowns), winners of the Gold medals in the Switzerland tournament in 1998. This winning team was coached by Kent Forsberg, who also is known for being the dad of our most recognized player right now, Peter Forsberg, who is playing for Colorado Avalanche. Many people say he is the most complete player of todays Ice hockey. In Sweden, he is the first player to appear on a swedish stamp, which was a result of an unforgettable & match winning goal in the 1994 Olympic Game's Final against team Canada.

Other great players in this 1998 gold team, just to mention a few: Mats Sundin, Captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Tommy Salo, at that time goal tender in New York Islanders, Mikael Renberg, formerly playing for the Philadelphia Flyers and Jonas Bergqvist who in the 1998 tournament became the most experienced player (most matches) in swedish hockey.

If you wanna know more of this year's Tre Kronor or have a look back in the history books, this is the place to visit. The site is updated regularly, and my intentions are to have coverage as far back as the 1950's, even before I was born. You, who were watching Ice hockey at those days will recognize many names.

You can read about legends like Sven Tumba, Roland Stoltz, Ulf Sterner, Lennart "Lill Strimma" Svedberg and more recent legends like Börje Salming, Anders Hedberg, Ulf "Lill Pröjsarn" Nilsson all the way to newer players like Håkan Loob, Kent Nilsson, Mats Näslund, Bengt-Åke Gustafsson till the stars of today: Nicklas Lidström, Mats Sundin, Peter Forsberg who all are world players by rang. Come here and read the stories, watch the pictures.

I also want you to participate in the vote for a swedish All Star Team. You rank your own Dream Team from goal tender, defense up to center player. You will be able to follow the Dream Team as the votes come in here. So, don't miss this opportunity to vote for the best team on ice.

You will find coverage from the big tournaments with daily updates. An opportunity for you to relax and read about the results, scores and see the pictures.

Happy Reading folks!!
