SMITH & WESSON MODEL NO. 1 SECOND ISSUE |
Model No. 1 Second Issue-The Model Number 2s little brother, it was manufactured from 1860 through 1868 with the total production reaching about 117,000. This pistol is a .22 short rimfire with a 7 shot non-fluted cylinder and 3 3/16" barrel. It had square shaped grips made of rosewood. The barrel was blued and the frame was silver plated, although almost no plating has survived on this model. |
