Part 4) Maps and Ancient Truths

Cartography is an Ancient art
With romantic names
That through fantasy sparks
A latent desire, a craving to see
A square rigger, Leaning to the breeze.

Or Portolanos mapped with compass stars (2)
All Bordered with myths and secret clues
And Dragon motifs and color schemes
Lines that cross like spider webs
With wind Spheres and Ports all marked.

Older still, with origins vague
A round Earth mapped at center stage
Like Ptolemy's Geocentric cosmological age!
Or Homer's map with the Earth all Flat
Yet Round, like an orange cut'n half. (3)

And of the most ancient of cultures
Whose gifted skills are ever in doubt
Who Envisioned the Earth coursing the Sun
Weaving a rug, Strand by Strand
Across the Heavens, Month by month (4)

Few know of the Celestial Weaver's Rug
Whose tradition was so strong
That the message went the world around
Royal Crimson carpets, Guiding the way
Like wedding Roses down the isle-way.

One last look at the Ancient World
The Pyramid Texts and Nascan Lines
Because like compass stars and secret signs
And spider webs that cross the lines
These are the Ports that Maps define.

The Pampa Jumana-Colorada
The bare, simmering, Nascan pampa
Shallow wash-ways, and leafless clayey sand (5)
Magical, surreal, ghostly, yet Real
Figures and lines, An indescribable time. (6)

And One lone figure (7)
Ghostly, Ithyphallic, and Pregnant (8)
The pre-dynastic Egyptian God
The Nascan companion
Atum-Re

From The Texts
The Companion reads!
"Atum is he who came into being"
Atum is he to whom, The gods were born
Atum is he to whom, All was born! (9)

And across the sea, The Sphinx's Spine
The ancient equator would define.
Four degrees South, the Face reclines.
It's from a distant Age, That this took place
So it'll take diligence, To replace.

On a modern Globe we'll wanna work
To rearrange things just a trace
Set the bow @ 60 North and 135 West
And below @ 60 South and 45 East (10)
Then an equator, Through the Sphinx's spine.

In Equatorial order, These three will lay
An ancient world in tropical Splendor
Alaska at the pole, in strange conformance
To Join the Pyramid Texts and the Nascan Lines
And Easter Island to simmer on the extended line.

But the gift is yet to be seen
On this globe that been's exchanged.
Where modern latitudes and ancient equators
Side by side at 31 East,
Cross at 4 degrees.

The transformed globe
Now so Revealingly constructed
With the Lush greens of Equatorial splendors
Shadowing the spine along the line,
And with latitude 30 N, Its face aligns.

4.) R. O. Faulkner, "Ancient Egyptian Pyramid Texts," Aris &
Phillips,Warminster- England, Oxford University Press, 1969, Utt. 304 & 305.
(Note: The Pyramid Texts are extremely complex, and the concept of the
celestial rug is developed throughout many passages. Utt. 304 & 305 is just
typical.)

5.) Hawkins, Gerald S., Beyond Stonehenge, Harper & Row, Publishers, New
York, London, 1973, Pg. 102-103

6.) From a September 1996 letter written to me by, Ms. Grav, then a worker
at the  Asociación Maria Reiche in Nasca, Peru. The association has since
closed with the passing of Maria Reiche. Unfortunately, I missed the
opportunity to speak to Maria Reiche, an extraordinary lady.

7.) This is the only figure on the plateau that can be said to be truly
human.

8.) The reason that this figure is ithyphallic and pregnant at the same time
is because it is a hermaphrodite. It is capable of self fertilization and
propagation. [See footnote 9, below]

9.) The two (2) passages in the Pyramid Texts read:

(§ 1248) Atum is he who (once) came into being, (The primeval god who
evolved from the Chaos.) who masturbated in On. He took his phallus in his
grasp that he might create orgasm by means of it, and so .. (§ 1249).. were
born the twins Shu and Tefenet!

(§ 1655) O you Great Ennead which is on On, (namely) Atum, Shu, Tefenet,
Geb, Nut, Osiris, Isis, Seth, and Nephthys; O you children of Atum.

10.) If the reader will take a modern 15 inch world globe, and reposition
the bow pins at 135 West, and 60 North, by 45 East, and 60 South, then,
using the "zero" equatorial latitude mark on the bow as a guide, lay an
equator out by revolving the globe and mark points at frequent intervals.
Then go back, and lay a white thread, wetted with glue on the Globe surface,
to connect the equatorial points. When complete, this Alaskan Era equator
will pass over Easter Island, Nasca, and it will pass over Giza at an angle
of 4 degrees relative to the 30 N, parallel.

NOTES:

a.) It is the purpose of, ‘The Age of the Sphinx©," series to search the
physical, cultural, and scientific archives, and bring together everything
that can be found that chronicles an extreme age of the Sphinx, and a
verifiable model of catastrophic Earth change.

The hypothesis that patterns this research is that the Sphinx is
approximately 30 to 36,000 years in age, that the catastrophic model is one
of crustal displacement, and the cultural model is one of near total
catastrophic extinction of non-Biblical origin.

b.) Characteristic of the Portolanos, according to the author of the
referenced WebSite,  was the network of lines that crossed in all directions
like a spider's web, and the "course lines" that prolongation of the angles
of a central wind sphere they intersect with the lines coming from other
wind spheres surrounding the main one. This fact, together with the
different colors (red, green, blue, gold,...), used to facilitate the
courses identification, gives this charts a highly decorative aspect.]
