Ch Walkon Masterclass

"Bentley made his debut at the Tyne Wear & Tees Boxer Club Championship Show in May 2018 where, under breed specialist Steve Gething, he was 1st Minor Puppy Dog & Best Puppy Dog. He repeated this the following week at Birmingham under Liz Rawlings and then continued his winning ways with a stream of firsts in minor puppy and then puppy classes.

In his first nine months in the ring he truly amazed us by winning 10 Best Puppy In Breed awards at Championship Shows equaling Ch Roamaro Fun In The Sun With Walkon's record as a puppy.

Bentley however went one better and won his 1st RCC & Best Puppy at 8 months under Diego Garcia at Blackpool in June, going on to win Working Puppy Group 3 .
Still a minor puppy, a second RCC & Best Puppy followed a month later at National Working & Pastoral Breeds from Veronica Feaver, where he was also Working Puppy Group 1 & Reserve Best Puppy In Show under all rounder Geoff Corish.
A third RCC & Best Puppy came under Marion Campbell at Richmond where this time Bentley was Working Puppy Group 2 and where his kennel mate Ch Walkon Big Star pipped him at the post by winning the CC.

During this illustrious puppy career Bentley had further success with Working Puppy Group 2 at Belfast and Group 4 at Leeds and won three heats of the Eukanuba Puppy Stakes, at SKC, Darlington, where he was overall runner up and at Driffield where under Stuart Plane he was Overall Winner qualifying for the final in the big ring at Crufts 2019.

If that was not enough, at the tender age of 11 months Bentley won the CC, Best Puppy & Best In Show at the Irish Boxer Club Show under breed specialist Tony Curtin and just a month later on his first day in junior at Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Scotland, under another breed specialist Doreen Greaves, Bentley won his 2nd CC & BOB being shortlisted in the final 6 of the Working Group.

Bentley's star studded first year in the ring ended with him being Top Boxer Puppy 2018 with 2CC's & 3RCC's to his credit, something that no other WALKON has achieved.

2019 started with a bang, when Ch Walkon Big Star won the first CC of the new year. Bentley, his best friend and now great rival, was not to be outdone and so the following week at the Anglian Boxer Club, under Karen Turner, Bentley put his best paw forward to win his 3rd & Crowning CC and become Walkon's milestone Champion Number 30.
