Tarsha Parker (Science)
Ms. Parker has a BA from Hendrix College in Conway. She currently serves as Science Dept. Chairperson, former FHMS
Teacher of the Year (2002), and is our SECME coordinator.
Tracie Steward (Social Studies)
Ms. Casto has a BS from Lamar University at Beaumont, Texas. She is bilingual and a fully endorsed as an ESL
teacher K-12.

Amy Fuss (Social Studies)
Miss Fuss has a BA in political science form the University of Wisconsin at Madison and post BA studies at the University
of Wisconsin at Whitewater.

Alvin Mays (Math)
Mr. Mays has a BSE from UAPB and a MSE from the University of Central Arkansas at Conway. He is a fully certified
teacher, coach, and administrator. alvin.mays@lrsd.org
Ms. Smyly has a BSE from Jacksonville State in Alabama and MSE from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. She is a fully
certified teacher with an endorsement in Pre-Advanced Placement English. She was also recognized as Best Accelerated
Reading Teacher (2002).
