The Singapore International Luminous Dragon & Lion Dance Championship

The Singapore International Luminous Dragon & Lion Dance Championship ended at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on
Wednesday (1st Jan).
Two teams from Singapore took the top two spots in the finals for the luminous dragon category.
For the Lion Dance competition, hot favourites and world champion KSK A Team, missed the finals when their
lion fell at a crucial moment during the heats on Tuesday.
The Ha Kwok Cheung team from Hong Kong emerged
as the winner.
This year, world class teams from nine different countries participated in the competition, which was
last held in Singapore 6 years ago.
The Singapore Wushu Association hopes to organise the event again in the next two
to three years.
