February Updates2/18- A few changes, namely the logo (I can't believe I resorted to using one of the backgrounds from the Official Nick Zim site ::shakes head sadly:: Sacrilege. Anyway... I've posted far too many names on the 'Warning' list at the Groupboard. I'm going to say this one more time, and then I shut up. Saving pictures with nothing that has to do with Zim, and saving pictures MULTIPLE times just so that it stay up, is not allowed here at Irth. Only a certain amount of pictures can be saved and if you save a picture uselessly it takes up the spot of another picture that *did* follow the rules. You can draw whatever your hearts' desire, just please don't save it. Other than that, you can see the schedule over there is a bit disheartening. Looks like new Zim won't be until mid or late march. But on a lighter note (thanks Tif for doing some investigating) we can all look forward to Zim and Gir plushies at Hot Topic sometime during March. I will be working at competition this entire week, so if I don't respond to your e-mail please don't be offended ^_^ When I get back things are going to be a lot different around here. So I suppose you can look forward to the changes. Possibly. 2/11- Wai! Look at that kawaii picture we have up there! Many, many thanks to Taryn for it. I have a bit of sad news. Our moderator, Verdi, has officially left Planet Irth. And no, she's not planning to come back like PD (^.^) Verdi, we'll miss ya to no extent. It's too bad Nick had to go that far. ::gives her a death grip hug of doom:: WE LOVEDED YOU, VERDI! WE LOVEDED YOU! Ahem. You should take notice of the schedule over there. The new episodes are (supposedly) premeiring on March 2 but that's not yet confirmed indefinitely. Until then, episodes will air Sundays. 2/1- An actual update! Cheers for all :) As promised, I have a new fanfic up! Please also be sure to check out the new Fanfic Rules for Planet Irth. We also have more fanart, and a new 'Almighty Obsessed' project from Tif. She made some proffesional looking patches that you can use on backpacks and other various items. A new poll is now up as well. Contest Awards/New Contest Announcement to come soon. I am once again enacting the rules on the Groupboard (thanks, Ztarlight, for notifying me ^.~). I've deleted all the pictures that were inappropriate and not related to Invader Zim, so everyone gets a clean slate. But do realize that if you draw and save a picture NOT following the rules (especially pictures not relating to any of Vasquez's works) then it will be deleted and restrictions will ensue. Read the rules on the 'Back to the Drawing Board' page for more info. One thing I want to make sure you all know is that Planet Irth will remain up as long as YOU, the fans, keep coming and keep your interest in Zim. The cancellation has given us all little reason to continue on with our daily obsessive lives, but don't let something you love so much die so quickly. Keep those fan fics/art coming and be sure to participate in 'Almighty Obsessed' projects as often as you can. Show Nick just how much of a mistake they made.

January Updates1/29- More pro-Zim stuff for you to do! Toon Zone is doing a poll of the top ten cartoon series. E-mail tzmovieclub@yahoo.com or Click here and tell them that Invader Zim is your number one show! It ends the 31st (this month!) so don't procrastinate ^.~ 1/24- Please, DON'T forget that the Nickelodeon mail siege is tomorrow. It would be wise to get those letters in the mail tonight, in case your mail is picked up during the day while you're all at school. Send in anything- letters, pictures, notes, poems, you can even send in an entire FANFICTION if you wanted to, just to prove how devoted to Zim you are. I will be sending in all the names on my petition, so please be sure to sign it by clicking here. And also, just a message to the little twit that keeps signing in, telling people NOT to sign the petition and that it's a direct rip-off of the other one: Stop it. I actually wrote my petition *before* the other one came out. And if you had actually read the petition, you would have seen that I wrote a completely different intro, and didn't *mention* the cancellation (because at the time, the show WASN'T cancelled). Plus: there is NO harm in writing a multitude of petitions. In fact, I encourage it. I've been working really, really hard on a website dedicated to the boycott of Nick and support of Zim, so expect that very soon. Meanwhile, I want to let you all know that I am SO proud of you guys. You are really, really dedicated fans and it truly surprised me how many of you out there are willing to dedicate your time and energy to the cause of Zim. That link up there to the petition is nearing 10,000 signatures! Just to let you all know, there will be a mail siege against Nick on January 25. Don't forget! That day, gather of some friends and send a bunch of individual letters to Nick regarding Zim and their treatment of their animators and writers. Address your letters to Herb Scannel, the man who runs Nick, at: 1515 Broadway 38th Floor New York, NY 10036 I'm really hoping that this will be a success! I will be back with updates on the issue and a link to the anti-nick site soon. 1/18- Urgent Message: It is with great regret that I inform you all of the current standings. Invader Zim, as of January 17, 2002, has been cancelled. The 40 episodes within seasons 1 and 2 have already been made, however, only 24 will be shown. The other 14 have been scrapped. There will be no season 3 of Zim.This is NOT a rumor. It has been confirmed by both Wally Wingert (voice of Almighty Tallest Red) and Richard Horvitz (voice of Zim). Nick's stupidity is a given, that's for sure. But this doesn't mean that Zim fans have to give up. The moderators and I are working on several projects. Please do NOT send Nick hate mail. Angry letters with curses will solve NOTHING. And though I truly believe that letters will do nothing for Zim, we have to try. I was informed by Idgiebay (of Galactic Conquest) that since Nick owns Zim, it would be a long and hard legal issue before the show could be passed on to another network. But this doesn't mean we can't try. If you can get into contact with ANY of the people that work on Invader Zim, then please e-mail them with your condolances. Planet Irth will *not* be shut down immediately. Even when the show does end, it will most likely remain on line as long as people write fanfiction, do the projects, and participate in contests. You've survived this long on that alone on simply reruns of Zim; it is possible to survive a little bit more after all the new shows are over. I'm sorry this happened. And it was no one's fault but Nickelodeon's. It's sad that Invader Zim has become another victim of idiot executives and Nick's all-too-familiar ability to pull the plug on a great show. Here's some Confirmation for those of you in denial. 1/13- STILL working on the page, but there are some major updates which you must be directed to. Firstly, on the Groupboard I decided that it was silly that a few people ruined everyone else's fun. So I found out how to ban certain users, instead of deleting the entire board (which I was planning to do again, because the number of people breaking rules is ridiculous). There is a page up with the rules specifically outlined, and explanation of what one does to be 'banned'. There will be no new contest this month, nor a new poll, due to some long overdue updating work and a special contest that is to be announced soon. 1/4- Hello, all! I apologize for the lack of updates, but we've been working hard to change a few things here around Planet Irth! Updates will not be announced until all changes are complete, so please be patient. :)

December Updates 12/22- The coundown is on, and two days are left to run around buying last-minute gifts! Like Verdi said in the previous update, PD's coming back- you just can't bury the guy. There is some VITAL news in the news section based on New Episodes, so check it out! Some new Fanart up from Verdandi, Taryn, and Zel; also an update in naming on the Media page thanks to Sakura, and don't forget to participate in the December contest! I do have some screencaps of Door to Door, given to me from a wonderful person who is on the 'good' list this year (Smile! Your life has been spared!) but since Tripod's being a royal pain, you'll have to wait.-.-' 12/20- Are you folks keeping count on your calendars? 5 more days to be a consumer whore and buy up everything you see because greeting card companies rule the world! YAY! Ive alreayd had my christmas, and pulled in enough electronic equipment to keep me buried for a while. But onto updates! ::Squee!:: First off, I'd like to revoke Madra's last announcement and let you know PD is still going to stick around! Yes! Hes a tough little bugger to kill! But seriously, It wouldnt be the same without him...(I know that! ^_~) Second, Ive finally been able to pull my self free from the grips of EXAMS at skool, and Ive updated! Yes! I *DO* have a purpose at PI! Ive updated fan art, the link section, and even a few fanfics! And I MUST point out an exceptional new fanartist, NOVA, who style is just amazing! Check her out in the FAN ARTsection! And third, if you enjoy the works of Jhonen Vasquez, you owe it to yourself to go check out this up and coming artist, who I believe, has recently been signed on to be published at Slave Labor. It is stunning and has that sureal, bueatifully distorted imagery that is a unique style all its own. I cant say anymore without sounding more and more like I belong in special Ed. Go see for yourself the work FSC has put out, at FSC WASTELAND. CIAO! ~Verdi 12/17- Sadly, it seems that our very own PD has decided to leave the Planet Irth Moderator's Board on the count of Nickelodeon's idiocy and technical difficulties. ::sniffle:: We'll all miss you, PD. Thanks for putting up with me and my ZAGR/Slash fetishes for so long, and thanks for being a good friend and moderator for Irth. 12/16- Updates! UPDATES! I've notice that not nearly as many people come here... whether it's Nick's fault or my fault, or a combo of both, I don't know. But now that the break is coming, I do gauruntee more updates. Right now, there are lots of new fan art pics up, along with many entries in both of the contests. The Thanksgiving contest is now over, the Christmas one is still open. More quotes have been added to the quote list from 'FBI Warning' and 'Door to Door', so be sure to check them out. I'm trying to get screen caps for those of you who can't download it, but realplayer's being stupid. Also, there are a couple new links up. 11/26-::gasp:: Can it be? An actual UPDATE?!?! Yes! It is! I apologize for disappearing for so long. You know the excuse. Those rabid monkeys *really* take up my time these days. Anyway, There's some spiffy new art by MLCmeow37, and two bits of vital info in the News section. Also, check out the new 'About Me' sections for Irth! Ones for Verdandi, and the other is for our newest addition, Tif. 11/24- Thanks to all of you who have e-mailed me. Yes, I've been fully aware that the marathon was changed to Sunday. However, it was something I did not yet want to announce, half on part on confirmation, the other half on the fact that I STILL don't trust Nick. Anyway, if you're thinking "What Marathon" (o.O) then I'm just going to say that it begins at 2 PST/EST (1 Central) and will last 2 hours.

11/23- I, unfortunetly, might have some bad news. Thanks to Ztarlight who caught this for me, the Zim marathon might be replaced with Hey Arnold. I have nothing to say about this. If I open my mouth right now, they'll have to give me the award for most curses used in a sentence. Anyway, hope that it isn't true, and tune in at 2:00 EST/PST, 1:00 central.

11/21-Head over to Hot Topic now to see all the Invader Zim items they have! I think my favorite is the 'Somebody Needs a Hug' tee with Gir on it ^.^. Thanks to GODSPEEDM1 for the two new piccies up there. My goodness... you people scare me. Verdi, I do believe that your poll has stirred up a lot of anti-Jhonenism... I didn't expect you to imagine Gaz strangling the poor guy... You must EMBRACE and OBEY your future slave master. And send your soul to him. Come on, all the cool people are doing it. Anyway, we're going to be getting some things done around the place. Sorry for the long, long, LONG delay in updates. Will the wonderful girl who sent me the 9-11 poem please e-mail me again? I seem to have lost your address. Anyway, please don't forget about the contest, and be aware that our next contest WILL be announced Dec. 1, but the Nov. contest, on the count of it was announced late, will end on Dec. 12 (confusing, I know, but bear with me). 11/15- Right now, one of our own moderators, Tif has access to Invader Zim merchandise. Ooohhh.. Tif how I envy you. Most likely the ONLY person on this planet who has gotten the T-shirts (Which, by the way, AREN'T due until next week!) she's given us some very special spoiler shots of her findings. Unfortunetly, so far only two styles of the men's T-shirt are due (::growls:: Must not bite their heads off. Must not bite their heads off.) Here's some info I got from Tif's elated (CAN YOU BLAME HER???) e-mail: "...the next stuff coming is three junior tees in about two weeks, and 'acessories' that could be here any time now, which means probably stickers, keychains, posters (POSTERS!), patches (PATCHES!!!!), and the like. You can also register a Christmas List at Hot Topic. I did not know this. There's even a contest where you can win EVERYTHING on your list." None of the stuff is up at the website yet, but keep your eyes open and your browsers ready, because it's due soon. One thing before I go. Please don't take this pictures. They are property of Tif, and are EXCLUSIVELY brought to Planet Irth. If you want a picture, you'll have to e-mail Tif about it. Tif... you do realize that you are the envy of thousands of IZ fans, right???

11/12- Ummm... Tripod has been acting very weird lately, so if the site acts up, don't get too freaked out because it's not YOUR computer. Anyway, since some of Planet Irth's own moderators has entere Costume Contest #2, we decided that it is YOU who should vote for the winners this month. Please, vote fairly, and check out ALL of the entries (I just put up some new ones today) before you do so.
There's also a new contest that you all should check out. We're giving you a month to do it, so it ends the 12th of December (a day after my B-day!) but it would be a good idea to get started early (you'll see why).

11/9- Ok, this is for everyone who's Invader Zim merchandise money is burning a whole clean through their pockets! FOR SURE, the IZ t-shirts will be hitting Hot Topic stores nationwide by early next week. Other IZ merchandise will be too, but that isn't completely confirmed. But, T-SHIRTS FOR SURE!! This srumtrilescent peice of news is thanks to Eric, who's emailed a Hot Topic merchandising-beast who works directly with nick in distributing IZ stuff, so, you KNOW this is pretty accurate. If you still dont beleive me, try calling or emailing your local Hot Topic; Im sure they'll be glad to indulge your queries (becuase you have money!). Now, think twice before going and wasting all your dough on that new APHEX TWIN cd, and try to hold out for one...more....week.....

11/5 (later)- On a sad note, I recently found out that Nick will *not* be playing Invader Zim this friday. Instead, it is to be replaced by a new show called... the Butt Ugly Martians. What the producers at Nick were on when they decided to let this show even air is beyond me... Anyway, Zim WILL be showing this Saturday at 5:30 eastern/pacific and 4:30 central, and will resume it's regularly scheduled programming next Friday. Let us all fear the Butt Ugly Martians and hope that Zim one day destroys them. All.
11/5- Finally got back to those updates! More entries in Costume Contest #2 are now up, and yes, a new poll! Much thanks to Verdi for the idea- you'll have fun with this one. 10/31~11/1- Mwa! Didn't expect such a change, didja? I was debating on whether or not to do a Thanksgiving backdrop, but seeing as since most stores and, well... everyone seems to have forgotten Thanksgiving even had an existence, I may as well be unconventional- right? Anyway, enjoy the tasty fruits of the cornucopia! The poll is closed, and a new one will be set up tomorrow. Costume Contest #1 is also closed, BUT Costume Contest#2 will be open until next wednesday. We already have more entries for CC #2, including from our very own Verdandi. 10/30- I've been getting lots of entries for the contest- it's been a great turnout. You do have until tomorrow to turn in your work- it all must be in by midnight tomorrow (ooooh, spooky, yes?) Great job to all of you guys, and keep up the good work! Oh, yes, and Planet Irth has also gotten a new board member! Please welcome Tif to the group. You may know her as Crimson Obsession from FFN, but here she's another board member, helping out with the obession's cause. On a side note, things have been hectic lately with Planet Irth, having last-minute contest entries, polls, etc., so if you've been waiting patiently for us to put something up, it'll be up soon!

10/28- "Quiet..We're talking all spooky-like.." Was that not the best episode ever? What? it wasn't? ::pulls out crazy card:: hehee... Well, we have the first Entries for the second part of the costume contest, and boy, are they wonderful! Look at these people's costumes to see the dedication these fans have. Also, more fanart, and a FAN COMIC! Check it out in the comic section. Also, one more thing in these breif, yet amazingly satisfying update. People..Fanfics should be more than 7 SENTENCES LONG! You know who you people are who esnt them in..Thats called a prolouge..not a fanfic. And remember, Nov. 2nd. We will most likely put up links to the HotTopic Webstore for those of you who live out in the boonies, cut off from civilization...or just can't make it to a major retail center.

10/27- Dib's head ROCKS! Well, last night's episode was awesome, wasn't it? If by chance you poor souls missed it, they're airing it again this Wednesday on Halloween. Don't forget: Character Contest #1 ends this wednesday, but Character Contest #2 (where YOU dress up) will end a week from Wednesday. Don't forget to take pictures! If you have problems with your scanner and can't get your picture in, e-mail me about it and we'll work something out.

10/20-I'm Alive! And back...WITH NEWS! I got this from an Invader Zim Yahoo! Club. Dib's Top Secret Club According to [see link] Invader Zim and Rocket Power have been taken off the Nick-Pick due to the complete overpowering they had when they appeared up every other day...Dang...Nick gets worse..

10/19- Be sure to check out those links for the merchandising if you haven't yet (scroll down to the last update)! There's a HUGE update today, so please read *ALL* of it. First of all, I want to say that the Drawing Board has been temporarily taken down. MANY, not just one person, have violated the rules of this board. I said the topics were supposed to be INVADER ZIM RELATED, and yet scribbles or a bunch of flashing colors constantly littered the board. (For one: most to all of the stuff a certain 'Kelly' has done, and that fire breathing dragon Aden did. It's a nice dragon. But it's NOT Invader Zim related) Yes, the rule has been broken before, but when a bunch of people started doing it I got annoyed. But that wasn't the only reason. Recently I was at the board, drawing a picture, and someone came on and decided to scribble all over it. It happened before to someone else, and I told EVERYONE that if it happened again that I would take off that board. You know who you are that did that, and I want to tell you one thing: I wasn't lying when I told you I was the site moderator. The board will be back up someday, but probably not within this month because I'm too angry right now to even think about it. What happened to common courtesy, people? The board was supposed to be something for FUN, and you ruined it. Next time, the rules will be enforced even more strongly.
Well, I'm sure you're tired of me yelling at you, and I apologize to those of you who were good IZ fans and followed the rules (^.^). On a lighter note, I have some awesome news thanks to my wonderful friend, Crimson Obsession. She recently went to Hot Topic and talked to an employee, who said that they were slowly phazing out the Spongebob Squarepants stuff so that soon, it would ALL be replaced with Invader Zim Merchandising. Basically, all things Spongebob (shoelases, plushies, t-shirts, patches, buttons, socks, etc.) would be replaced by Invader Zim! ^.^ Much of the merchandise will be sold exclusively at Hot Topic, and after a month or so some of it will expand out to other stores. They've also gotten holiday merchandise videos with Invader Zim stuff (the store videos), and it should be in the last two weeks of October or the first two weeks of November, at the latest by the end of November. They get new merchandise every day, so it'd be wise to constantly check for new stuff. ALSO: They have a poll up at Hot Topic.com, in the 'mouth off' section that asks people about their favorite IZ character. Crimson Obsession says (and I completely agree) that it would be a good idea to go there and VOTE, because the more response they get from the poll, the bigger the demand will seem, and the more IZ stuff they'll sell. So GO! VOTE! And be prepared for imminent merchandise (official merchandise, unlike the linkage below- though that stuff is STILL adorable ^.^)
And ONE more thing: Planet Irth has recently reached over 10,000 hits! YAY! Thanks to all of you wonderful people who keep coming back, no matter how hard we try to scare you away (ó.O)!

10/6- I did stuff! Hooray! As of now, we have four total entries in Halloween Contest #1. There's a new section up in the Almighty Obsessed part- Icons! Now, you may have noticed the future episode description up there is a little... off. Each friday features one episode from the entire 9th episode, and one episode from the entire 8th episode. Whether this is a glitch in TVGuide.com's part, or Nick's part, I don't know, but it should be cleared up by next Friday. ^.~ More stuff will be coming soon! Yes, the winner for the "I OBEY, MASTER!" contest will be announced soon as well.

10/4- Hey! Well I'm just putting up this update as an apology. Two site viewers tried to IM me and both those times I had freak accidents with my computer. I'm really really sorry. Anyway what I'm saying is you guys can IM me. I was just having a few problems with my very slow computer!

10/2- I checked out tower records today, super-excited about the Nick CD, but met with some crushing news: there's only ONE song on the 52-track list that's Invader Zim, and that's the "Invader Zim Theme Song". Much of the rest of the track contains songs from Cat Dog, Wild Thornberries, Hey Arnold!, Angry Beavers and even Rugrats, so if you feel like grooving to 'Emika's Song', then more power to you. And if you REALLY feel like spending $13 just to listen to one song, props to you as well. But as for me, I think I'm just going to let a little creation called a 'burner' do the work for me. I got some more entries today for the contest, and those will go up soon.

10/1- Hey, all! Well, we do have the winner for the 'I OBEY, MASTER!' contest, but you guys will have to wait a liiiittle bit longer while we're getting that together. Like the new design? I was hoping for something more spooky, but then Nick censored it saying that it was TOO scary... it took an hour just to negotiate THIS background (ha... stupid joke, I know). Anyway, yes! We have a new poll! But I'm starting to think it was a mistake, because I have a feeling who's going to win. Besides that, Planet Irth not only has a new contest (TWO, actually), but someone has *already* submit their work for Contest #1. I find that truly awesome, and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with. Don't forget about tomorrow, October 2cd! (heh... I'd camp out in front of Sam Goody, but they might cuff me for being truent... >.<') If you don't know what I'm talking about, go to the news page. Oh, and that Gir model in Taryn's Toys is fixed, for any of you who ran into problems yesterday. Yes... PLEASE take note: After you click the button that says 'sign the petition', and fill in all that stuff, press the button that says 'Preview Your Signature'. Another screen will come up, showing your name, so that you can make sure you spelled everything right. After that, you MUST click 'Approve Signature' in order to get your name up! ^.^ Thanks. 9/25- Its the 25th of September, and you know what that was *SUPPOSED* to be! ....You don't? ::retracts krispie kream donuts:: Today was supposed to mark the end of "I OBEY, MASTER!", but due to some personal problems and cicumstances out of my control, I am being forced to extend this untill Sunday. OK, I have some explaining to do to abuot why I am doing this. Ummm....I have this thing where I dont clear out my mail box for a month at a time, so chances are I *HAD* every email sent me in the last month up till that point. Well, in short, hotmail said my acount was too large and erased everything in it from that time period , so any fanart or contest entries sent to me before then need to be re-sent, POST HASTE! I'm sorry guys, but it was a hectic week, and unfortunately, I couldn't reach my mail in time to prevent this disaster. Also, we have some fanart up that DIDN'T get erased, and some more SIR pics! It's purpose is to let Nick know how much we love IZ. It will also let Jhonen know how much we are behind him in this, and JUST how much we appreciate his work. And also prove to Nick how much they're losing if they decide to do anything brash with Invader Zim (censorship... darn that censorship)! So sign it! SIGN IT! The only driving force keepin me alive is the motivation to come here and tell you to EMAIL NICK 'TILL YOUR FINGERS TURN BLACK AND THE SKIN PEELS OFF LIKE THE TENDER FLAKY CRUST OF A HOT POCKET! (sorry....Its almost lunch..though I dont know how appetizing that last simile was...). What really is killing me is imagining how Jhonen himself must feel. God..I feel sorry for him most of all, and I hope this doesnt kill his faith in people and his fans. Imagine if you had put over a year or more into your show, then to have it crushed like some insignificant piece of foil gum wrapper...all becuase some over-reactive, tofu-lovin', child-safety lock, minivan-drivin', martha stewart-watchin', "Parenting for the 21'st Century"-book buy'n , parent feels like their little Jim-bob is being turned into a terrorist by Nick. 9/19- When fears are justified, it can be the worst feeling in the world. I did a backup check of the update yesterday, and apparently Nick *is* replacing the Invader Zim Marathon with... Hey Arnold. Verified at the tv schedule at the website, you get four wonderful hours of Hey Arnold! instead of our beloved IZ. Things are crucial. I know I said not to do this before, but we NEED to send Nick letters, complaining. I'm going to get my hands on their address (or TRY to) so that maybe I can have everyone send WRITTEN letters (far more effective). I wonder... if (this is an IF, people, not verified) Nick CANCELS Zim... can another network pick it up? Because hey, I'd THREATEN Nick to throw the idea at the WB if they can pick Zim up. Dang! (Yes... I was thinking of using a different word, but kids are reading this). If you're interested in a FWD, I just got one a few days ago. I can send you a copy which you can send to your IZ crazed friends. Other than that... I'm sorry. I wish I could fix things, but I can't. I'm just a fan. God... I wonder how JHONEN must be feeling?

9/18 Oh god. Nickelodeon is retarded. We've once again been screwed over by Nickelodeon and instead our Zimmy goodness, theirs this retarded, totally un-announced, crappy, Hey Arnold! Marathon. 9/15 [later]- I want to make one thing clear. The current rumor about Invader Zim being cancelled is NOT verified. It is JUST a rumor, and we don't know anything for certain! Please, stop the hysteria and the hype. I DON'T want two million e-mails from people asking me if I know anything because I don't know yet. If anyone here at Planet Irth DOES know, we will make sure to post a message as soon as we find out. If you REALLY want to help, then get your message across the Nick.com Message Boards, and post your worries in the Invader Zim, or Show Suggestion sections. You can even Write to Nick. Please remember that it's just a rumor, and don't add any more to your load of stress. This week has not been the best for everyone, and something like this rumor coming up is not exactly helping. Also- please remember not to get malicious or nasty toward NICK. The LAST thing we need is more violence.

9/15- As many of you are probably already aware, Invader Zim was not shown as of 9/14. I want to make it a point that whether or not this ws a mistake is unkown. However, if you take into account the fact that Invader Zim is a fairly violent show, and the note that one of the episodes were entitled 'FBI Warning'... you can all put two and two together on that one... Thank you to those of you who brought these factors to Planet Irth's attention. And *yes* I have heard the rumors. Please... I ask that you dont take them the wrong way. We don't know anything for sure yet, and here at Irth we're investigating the matter. For all we know, it COULD have been a glitch... also, check the news page for more info about the Invader Zim Marathon.

9/14- As the site owner and Co-owner, Verdi and I would both like to make a formal apology for our actions earlier, and the comments she had made as of earlier today...
I am sorry for pulling everyone apart in this time, and just furthermore, aggrivating everyone when I should have only been trying to comfort.
I apologize for my hypocrisy, condoning something that I should have really thought more about. I will still be accepting banners and such... we will be creating a Memorial page just for the occasion, however... some issues among the members of the site need to be recognized. Personally, I must apologize to Verdandi and Taryn... I did not mean to hurt any of you and I feel so horrible that I did so... I brought it upon myself...
I feel retarted contradicting myself... Verdandi, I never meant to undermine your attempts at bringing together everyone... and that I'm sure you didn't intentionally mean any harm with your banner... I was just a little emotional... and I'm very rash when I'm like that...
I'd like to hope that this mistake can be put behind us, but if it can't, I understand. It's... hard, having do deal with making a stupid mistake, especially with all that's occurring around us right now... I hate myself for it... and I'm not going to let Verdi take all the responsibility for it, because this was my fault too... sometimes... you want to help someone so badly, and you are so overwhelmed, that you aren't sure what's wrong or right anymore. You're driven by this... unknown force to please everyone, and tread softly, and hold back from voicing your true opinion... anyway... I'm not making any sense to anyone, am I? I'll leave it at that I'm sorry, and that no, Taryn and Verdandi, I will not be taking your banners down... I *do* like them, and I am sorry for everything that has happened.

9/14-After what has happened over the past weeks, and being behind an airport, I have held back my sorrow and anger from the internet. I have bear with all the website memorials, and I am violently disturbed by images of arms, legs, people jumping from buildings, I wish not to talk about it.......But I am pissed about Friday, once again, the asses at Nickelodeon show this crappy episode of Fairly Oddparents. I'm just pissed... Oh yeah, Screen-caps coming soon...*BTW* Over the weekend and so-forth, I'll be opening a private chat and/or a normal A+E chat called, "Invader Zim"

For some reason, the top 30 list was deleted. I'll wait a week to see if the owner will put it back up again, and if not, I'll kill the link.

9/8- Working on "The Show Itself" page, and I'll be watching a taped Zim to add some new quotes over there later. Big update should be coming sometime this weekend. I think the past new episodes have boosted Zim's popularity, because we've been beating Rocket Power with ease all week. It's on the upick again, don't forget that every time it's on, I'll put that little icon up there you can click to go directly to the page. 8/25- WHEW! Okay. I'm STILL not done but it's been long overdue for an update. We have a new logo! And I have Verdandi to thank! She also provided the gifs for those lovely trading cards which you can now save onto your computers... but please don't take them and put them up on your sites without clearing it from me first. Ok! Magenta is now my permanent color, and the newest host of Planet Irth, Verdi will be red. I still wouldn't mind another site owner, just so that I don't put ALL of this on Verdi! I added some more quotes over there for the two newest episodes, but I wouldn't mind more ^.^ We have some fan art/fiction in the yaoi section, and a TON of new Fan Art in the Fan Art section. There will be some more fics coming soon. The site also has a new banner, thanks to Verdi, who also has made the awards for the top 3 winners of the Impending Obsession Contest (which... I have yet to choose. >.<) The new contest will be here September 1st. So will a new poll. And thank you Zine, who guessed correctly what the THIRD thing ocurring on September 1st is- and that's Jhonen Vasquez's birthday! 8/22- Now that I'm working hard on not only the ZAGR, the Yaoi, and the 'Show Itself' page, I won't have much time to tell you all what updates are immediately. Just know that those three pages will be updated soon (and yes, the ZAGR page is now up, but not completed yet). I'll be putting up media too, fan art, and fan fiction. Also, you can download the games now in the 'Almight Obsessed' section of the site. I'll disappear for awhile but I shall come back! And before Sept. 1, too ^.^ I'm really losing it... 8/20-Updates! Finally! I have a small peice of art up in the Fan Art section... but a ton more will be put up soon. There's so much of it I just can't decide! A few of you may have noticed the deletion of the yaoi banner below. Also, you may have noticed the new 'Forbidden Romance' page up. Put 2 and 2 together and you'll know what's happening. I've devided to make a page dedicated entirely to romance. ZAGR will be there too, but so will slash. I'm not going to go entirely into explanation of what changed my mind, for that you'll have to go to the slash page to read the explanation. And no, those aren't the final pictures. I'm working on a ZAGR entrance pic (the one up there is just there as a substitue), and I'm going to fix the Slash entrance pic when I have the chance (it's far too... blurry). It's FAR from done (extremely far) but I'll be working on it for the next week or so. For those of you who wanted the video game: I have it downloaded on my computer! If you e-mail me, telling me whether you have a PC or a MAC, I'll e-mail you the game. Also, I have someone who will co-own the website with me! Planet Irth is saved! YAY!!! 8/18- I disappeared for a few days! So sue me! Actually, I was caught in the trap of that evil mouse, and The "__________" place on Earth (use any word except 'happy' and it's synonyms). Anyway, many updates! Yay! I am fully aware that the link to the video game no longer works. I might have a way through that but right now my two betas haven't e-mail me back yet, so you'll have to wait. And what I'm going to do is probably illegal, and you probably should wait, but hey, this is a meager site, who's gonna know? Those two new episodes were awesome. I added some quotes to the quote thingie, but I desperately ask you to add your own! I wasn't able to get all of them. And please, the hamster's name is Peepi. PEEPI! I don't want to see some quote that goes "Pee-pee! Obey me! Pee-pee!" because that's just stupid. Thank you. :-) If you go to Nick.com, you will find that they FINALLY have trading cards! In order to get them you must have a login name. It's fast and easy, so don't worry. 15 cards are out right now, 22 are totalled to be given, and there *might* be gold cards, but that's not definite for now. Nick.com has been having trouble with this section of the site, so be patient. They're also having trouble with printing, but as soon as they can fix that I'll be able to copy and save those cards for you all if you just want to look at the pictures and such. You won't be able to get the sound files, however, so be aware of that. Fan art will be put up today! But I'm waiting for it, and waiting to scan some of my own... (I couldn't help it... Zim looked so adorable in his "Battle of the Planets" attire) What do we have, then? Well, we have fanfic! There's TP's sweet fic, My Only Love and Chaotica's awesome story, Like Father, Like Son. 8/14- Ha! Third one in a day! Woo. Woo. I favor this one so far... beware of THE BEES, yes? Well, okay. I was SO BORED, that I did some site searching. And you won't believe what I found. An Invader Zim Video Game, called Dib's Nano-Chase (when you get there, click the link titled GOLDFILE to download it, or RC3 if you just want to play automatically). Yes! I don't know if it's at the actual site or not, but it's from someplace called itoons.net. Sitting back, listening to a cheesy re-creation of the theme song, I discovered that I suck at this game. I seriously do. After blasting Zim for oh, only five times, and running my stupid ship in the walls of Dib's trachea about twenty, "Zim got to poor Dib's brain and now he couldn't remember his name"... OH WELL! MWA HAHA! ZIM WON!!! Um... yeah... anyway, if you are bored like me, you too can go to this site and check out the game. There are also proposals for other future Invader Zim games, like such inclassic titles as: "Operation Brain Drain", "H2Oh-Oh!", "Whirly Gir", and more. So, for those of you who complained- complain no more. "Dib's Nano-Chase" is sort of easy to get used to after awhile... I played a second time and actually won! Yea! Bye bye Zim! ::flush:: Eep... Sorry! Now on to the more difficult level... beware the arm control nerve! ((later note: I played the hard level... jeez, it is DIFFICULT. But if you actually hit those little nerve thingies... Dib's face twists into one of pain and he lets out a scream... it's actually pretty funny... and yes, I have a sick mind))

8/14 (earlier)- erm... don't ask me what happened. I was messing around with the site builder, trying to fix that quote thing over there, and accidently screwed *something* up (what it was, I don't know). Basically, the result was a complete change in my background. I couldn't figure out how to turn it *back*, so I'm revamping the site to suffice this (because... going from a completely black background to one that's white doesn't exactly help things...) I personally don't really like it, but oh well. I'll be messing around with the site a little more to see if I can fix the problem, so don't freak out thinking you've gone paranoid. Until then, enjoy the new site... I guess. X.x In the meantime, I made another banner that's a little bit smaller than the other ones, so it's more efficient. We have more wonderfully drawn pictures in the 'Back to the Drawing Board' section, and another addition to the Impending Obsession contest.

8/13- Finally! All of those impending obsessions are up. ^.^ Don't forget- the contest ends September 1st, 2001, so if you've been planning and planning to send your own in, you might want to actually decide to do so! Gir of Doom sent me their website, which has a bunch of cool original Zim images that are soon to be trading cards at Nick.com. Click here to go to the site and check these out. Pustilio looks creepy... O.o I have more fan art from Taryn as well, and don't forget, Zim is still on the upick until 6:30 PST, 7:30 central, and 8:30 EST. No one is sending me stuff! I have nothing to do! I'd appreciate fan fics, those are nice. Oh! On the poll, it seems that the 'Gaz develops a crush on Zim' idea is pulling FAR ahead. For you anti-ZAGR fans out there, start voting! I know I promised to do something with all of those polls, and I will. ::cackle:: Just you wait. I'll also be putting up my comic soon so be on the lookout for that... if you have a Fan Comic, it'd be a nice addition to that section over there.

8/10- Yes, I know, we all want to go hunt down Nickelodeon for not putting on Invader Zim tonight, but can you at least wait until the new episodes are over? Then we'll get our angry mob together and hurt them... badly. Tonights 'no-show' was a surprise to us all... even tvguide.com, which didn't get it's act together until just yesterday. Sadly, I will no longer be able to show pictures up there until... December. When the new episodes stop showing and screencaps are possible. Wow. Anyway, the *least* I can do is keep you posted on the Invader Zim episodes ocurring within the next two weeks, and put up a random IZ picture, some of which may be edited (I plan to do some 'editing' for halloween... fun!). I'm still putting up those Obsession entries so please have patience if you're not up yet. Also, I did a LOT of research today and put up a Costume page in 'The Almight Obsession' section of the site. Here you can actually find pictures of items I've been able to find around the web resembling clothes the characters wear. It's still under construction, and most of the stuff I've found is for Gaz (NOT my fault), but you can enjoy anyway. ^.^ Also, Zim is on the U-pick once again so go vote to make up for today. 8/9- First of all, I want to apologize to 'Mwahahaimcrazy' (nice name, by the way). I don't know what happened, and I'm sorry your picture on the drawing board got screwed up. If it's any conciliation, I think the ones you have up now are awesome. Let me make one thing clear to all of you: if someone is making a drawing, be courteous and don't mess it up! If you feel like talking, don't use the group board to do it, use the message board (click the button directly under the group board tools that says 'Message Board').
Okay. So, other than that, we have a good amount of updates. I have more FanArt from Taryn and Zine, *many, many* entries in the Impending Obsession contest (which I'm still putting up), and I'll be adding more up today, so check back soon.

8/7- Not much of an update. The entirety of those Impending Obsession entries should be up by tomorrow. We have yet another picture in the Drawing Board. I've got some music files, but I have no clue how to convert them from Mp3 format to .wav format (Tripod won't let me upload it unless it's a .wav) So, until then, no music/sound files can be played. Zim is in the U-pick again! And losing miserably to Rugrats! Go and vote here so that we can watch him. The countdown has begun! Only 10 more days until the new epsisode, "Planet Jackers" and "Bad, Bad Rubber Piggy"

8/6- Hey! Sorry for the lack of updates, but I took a trip up to San Francisco. Nice people. Insane drivers. You can go to my Weblog if you want to see some pics. Thank you to all of you who have drawn pictures in the 'Back to the Drawing Board' section! They're all so nicely done... and very kawaii too. Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 of Harmony's fanfic, "Northern Lights", are now up. We have more fanart from MLCmeow37 (you may have to scroll down to see some of it when you reach the Fan Art page), and a WONDERFULLY done award from her as well. Thank you so much! I've gotten a LOT of entries in the Impending Obsession contest, and I'm busily working to put them all up so it might take awhile. Oh! And you may notice that the episodes up there haven't changed. *Supposedly*, tvguide.com said that they're showing Episode 3 again. I'm not completely sure though. But look on the bright side- JUST ONE MORE WEEK AND A FEW MORE DAYS UNTIL THE NEW EPISODES!!! ::runs around, hyper:: YEA!!!

8/2 (later today)- I've added a Java Groupboard! It's very fun. You can draw your own pictures, save them, load pictures from other artists, and even chat on the message board. Try it out! Be sure to read all the rules. 8/2- As you can see, I've done a bit of revamping with those pages over there to the left. It's been bothering me for the longest time... at least now they LOOK like they're in sections. Yes, I have made a new page, taking down the Fanfic Addicts Anonymous one. Instead it's a Fan Comic page. Mostly in part to Taryn, who sent in a WONDERFUL Fan Comic that you all should read. There you can also find the edited comics I made for FFN. Also, there is a new fan fic up. Check it out. I'm going on a trip this weekend, so I won't be able to update much cuz... I won't be here! But I will try to get as much as possible done by tomorrow. I have two entries in the contest to put up. Also, you might have noticed a few problems with the new poll I put up using Alx.net. It's all fixed now, so if you want to go vote, you should have no problems. Until again.

Help is always within reach! Invader Zim supposedly one the U-Pick today, but because of a glitch or something, they showed Pelswick instead (I'm am NOT going to comment...) Oh. And because of my impending boredom, I decided to add a 'Fanfic Addicts Anonymous' page, where I'll post those edited comics of mine so that I no longer take up space on the home page.

7/30- Wow! 1,000 visitors! This is so awesome... ::sniffles:: I love you guys... Okay. 'nuff of that. I made a few little edits here and there as a result of my nagging perfectionism. We have another addition to the Impending Obsession contest. Tomorrow is the last day to vote at the poll! And for the person who added a message to the poll (yep, you can do that, just scroll down a bit after you vote, it's right at the bottom) I completely agree. Of course... Zim is sexier ::a bunch of people gag and give me strange, wide-eyed looks::

7/29- As you can see, I have yet to change this font because FanFiction.net has YET to be put back up. ^.^ I FINALLY put up a music page! Yeah! Check it out in the characters section. I also put up my own weblog. I'm not telling you where it is.

Late in the depths between 7/28 and 7/29: As you can see by the comic above (which, BTW, I EDITED MYSELF, and if you steal, you die), I am not a happy person right now. This is why I should never be deprived from FanFiction.net for longer than a day. Of course, you FFN users might mutually agree. So, with nothing else to do, I shall scuttle around the site, making minor changes here and there. I found out that *stupid* tripod doesn't let people upload mp3's on their website, so I'm gonna try and find a site builder that does, and just use that from here. G'night.

7/28: Ah, yes. Once again, it is time for us to see how Zim shall make Dib not smart no more. Thank you Hedwig11 for bringing to attention that Gir's home planet is *not* Irk, but actually Conventia. Actually, I've seen that mistake on a lot of sites, now. Also, thanks to Batsani for her ideas for another obsessive thing you can do! Smell? Check out 'The Show Itself...' page to see an entire list of all the future episodes which shall finish up Season 1, thanks to Invader Rie , who found them for me. Also, check out the news page for a review about Invader Zim. Many thanks to El Juno for that. There's more fan art up as well. Oh! And the poll will end this Tuesday. 7/25: Hooray! Updates! As you can see, I changed the pictures up there *again* because the satellite decided to give the summaries again. More news, more Fan Art, more Fan Fiction, more entrances into the Impending Obsession Contest, aaaaand... still more coming soon. A good amount of votes in the poll, with the video game still winning. The poll will close in 1 week. I'm trying to fix that quote thing over there, but for some reason it won't respond to my text color commands, so I might have to do... something. Not sure what that something is yet. Also, I am still getting that music page together. Please have patience for you nice people who sent me lyrics and theme songs! Planet Irth is doing a LOT better than I thought... ithas bounced up to #24 on the countdown and reached over 800 visitors. Thanks to all ^.^

7/20: A few more updates. More news concerning Invader Zim! A friend of mine found out that Zim is no longer on the U-pick, meaning it was changed again. What does this mean? I checked out the schedule at the site and found that there *may* be a U-pick tomorrow. Unfortunetly, due to the unexpectedness of this, I'm not sure if Zim won. Last I checked, Rugrats was (the irony). But there are still more episodes scheduled for tomorrow AND sunday, even if it doesn't when the u-pick. Also, I changed the show up there (been awhile, hasn't it?). I'll be back with more updates soon. I'm *still* making that song page, and I'll put up the doom song sometime this weekend. I love Aimster.

7/19: Hey, look, I've finally updated! This week has not been all that great, but here I go, trudging along with the updates :-). There's some more fan fiction, news, an award, more entries in the Impending Obsession contest, updated profiles, and more coming tomorrow soon as I... find it. And I used my brother's Aimster to get the Doom song! I'll have that up soon too. All sattelites, and TV Guide.com, that I had access to future IZ fics have decided to revert to what I like to call 'permanent summaries', which is exactly as it says. So from now on I'll just put up the episodes from the fridays before. Oh! Be sure to watch Nickelodeon at 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. (pacific time) this SATURDAY for two extra episodes of Invader Zim! ::Yay:: I'll be back later for better Zim updates... hopefully. 7/10: Finally! Sorry I've been so horrible with the updates. I have put up more fan art, but for some reason that page is really weird so some stuff may look repeated. 7/8: I just figured out that this friday will be... ::scary voice:: FRIDAY THE 13TH!!! *gasp*! Umm... k. I've been lazy and working on my fic, so I apologize once more for the lack of updates. I will get that music page up soon! Someday. I've added page called "The Almighty Obsessed" that has some creative projects you guys can do if/when you're bored during the summer! It'll also be the location for future Invader Zim quizzes and such, but for now, all it has is a recipe and some ideas for t-shirts and stuff. Until again.

7/6: Yay! Updates! I've decided to make a humor page, but it's not up yet. So far I'm going to put up Recipes, Songs, Invader Zim Projects, and more. I do have a Brainfreezy Recipe! Yay! Tell me how it tastes. The recipe is here: How To Make Your Own Brainfreezy . I'll come back with more soon. Yay! Today's friday! You know what that means! Umm... I'm saying 'yay' way too much. Oh, and thank you to all of those dedicated fans who voted for Zim on the U-Pick Nick yesterday (which won!!! woo-hoo!) In other news, we have a news update! And we have another great entry in the Impending Obsession contest! Also, please continue to vote for Planet Irth in the top 30, and thank you to those who have. It's still on the edge of being on the 'Top 30' list and the 'Next 30' list. -.-' Alright! Planet Irth is nearing it's 300th visitor!

7/4- Yes! More fanart! Thank you! Plus, another entrance to the Impending Obsession Contest. More links too. I checked my aunt's satellite, and they said that the pilot episode is supposed to be shown this friday. I'm not sure about that, but we'll see. Happy Independence Day!

7/1- The poll is closed, and Zim is the winner! Another poll is up right now!!! News info is up regarding a never before seen episode, "Bad, Bad Rubber Piggy". I'll put up some interviews and reviews of "Invader Zim" soon as well.

6/30- Not really an update, because I've been washing cars for a fundraiser all day and I'm too exhausted to do any updates. Actually, there kinda are updates. There's a few more quotes added to the Quote Gear thing over there, and more votes in the poll. Zim is still leading with 7 votes, Dib and Gir tie for second with 3 votes each, and Gaz, The Almighty Tallests, and Professor Membrane all tie for third with 2 votes each. Oh! And before I forget! To all of you who were watching t.v. today, they showed Invader Zim! (at around 5:30 pacific time). They showed the two episodes supposed to be shown next friday (Attack of the Saucer Morons and The Wettening). Oh, it just brightened my day. *Plus*, for those of you who were listening closely on Friday, there was a reference to Invader Zim in a commercial with Henry and June. Henry was thinking of how the newscast would be in the future, and said something about Emperor Zim (I forget what he said... I just remember I cracked up laughing). It's spreading! Okay. So that's it for now. And as you can see, I didn't do the pretty color thing for the font this time. This turned out to be longer than I expected and it takes FOREVER to do that stupid color fader. I'll do it next time. Oh, and this site is nearing it's 200th visitor! Yeah! It hasn't made the top 30 *yet*, but I think right now it's #35 or something... please continue to vote! Thanks to all of you who do! Oh. And I added pictures up there. Just because I wanted to, and I thought they were pretty funny. I love that one where Zim is being attacked from both sides... so funny.

6/29: I have approval to get pictures from Invader Zim Obsessive Anonymous, so I'll be putting up that Episode and Show page soon. More quotes added! Thank you those of you dedicated fans! Plus, we have one entry in the Impending Obsession contest. Also, I received an award for the site! Yay! Plus the hits are reaching above 140. I'm so happy :-). The monthly poll is going well. So far, Zim is still in the lead, with Dib and Gir tying for second. Who will win??? We'll find out July 1st.

6/28- A ton of pics were sent in by Danni B. Thank you! More quotes, and more votes. Don't forget, the poll will close at the end of this month. I'm going to do something with the winner :-)

6/26- I've made a news page... hehe... I like the pic... thank you IZnut... That picture down there for the Invader Zim Webring is fixed... yay! Okay, time for more thank-you's! Thanks silverflashpup for adding your quote to the little quote thingie over there. And thank you Michelle for signing my guestbook. You all must sign the guestbook! How else can I hunt you people down? Oh, check out Michelle's site if you like anime. 'Tis kawaii.

6/26- I've been able to find another Operation! ::cheers:; It still has to do with going to Nick.com but this time you won't have to flood them with e-mails. It's still a cool place to check out as well. It's their Message Boards... more information at the Operation: More Zim section. I've found a really great website with this sweet person who's letting people have her pics, so I'm going to upload those soon, giving full credit to them, of course, so that'll be coming soon. Until then, I'm out.

6/26: A quick thanks: Thank you Zel for participating in Operation: More Zim and adding your post to the comet cursor website. Also, thank you DanniB for your generous contribution of ideas for Theme Songs. I liked them so much I decided to make a separate page dedication to Invader Zim theme songs alone, which should be up within a few days.

6/24-6/25: The reason it's from the 24th to the 25th is because it's around MIDNIGHT when I finally got this website off the ground. I'm exhausted, but thankfully I can rest easy now that this place is up and running. Welcome to my first Invader Zim page. I know it's not all that great of a site... most of the layout is a File Manager from tripod... I just got so fed up with trying to do my own HTML. Plus, I can get a lot more done without ranting and raving about how stupid I feel being unable to do all that cool HTML stuff... ^.^ Take a look around Irth and tell me what you think. Sometime in the future I'm going to have staff members, because I'm already helping out with two other pages and I want this place updated as much as possible. Also, if you give me screen caps, I will be SOOOO thankful! I'll even make ya an award ^.^ And if you give me the Zim theme song, I'll love you even more!
