EPISODE GUIDE
Utu-Noranti Pralatong
Noranti is a mysterious, three-eyed, hygienically challenged herbalist from the planet Trask. Chef, healer,
teacher she has mastered many callings in her 293 cycles of life. She's a healer whose credo seems to begin
with the phrase, "Do a little harm, just to get their attention." She's a teacher whose lessons usually are clouded in
riddles and hallucinogenic dust. When she wishes to, she can read people's minds and "project" them into the past or future.
She is wise, but dispassionate ; forced to choose between the good of a loved one and the good of a thousand strangers,
she wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice her loved one in the name of the greater good.
Species - Traskan ; Healer and cook
Officer Aeryn Sun
|
Part of the frontline Pleisar Regiment of the Peacekeeper Military, Aeryn was a top-notch soldier and combat pilot until
her encounter with Crichton and Moya rendered her, by Peacekeeper standards, "irreversibly contaminated," and ostracized
her from the only family she'd ever known. Aeryn was a rarity in the Peacekeeper world: a child born of a loving union
rather than engineered to fill an empty space in the ranks. During a disasterous encounter with a sadistic scientist named
Namtar, Aeryn was injected with Pilot's DNA; although the transformation was reversed, she still retains some of the injected
genetic material. She sees the Peacekeepers,
now, through the eyes of Moya's crew, and knows them to be relentless and in many ways wrong, but there is much of Aeryn
that still considers herself a traitor. She and the lost human, John Crichton have been on again off again, struggling with
their feelings for each other, but alas, they have decided to continue on, and are engaged and expecting a baby. |
Species - Sebacean (very similar to Human) ; Former Peacekeeper
Chiana
|
Chiana's happiest when she has the opportunity to show off her scoundrel skills; she's a thief, a liar,
a seductress and a drama queen. Her talents for subterfuge have proved useful on more
than one occasion for Moya's crew, but her tendency to be contrary makes her an unlikely team player in crisis situations.
Chiana doesn't do what Chiana doesn't want to do, and as a general rule, that's anything that would risk her hide, ruin her
reputation, or tear her clothing. Unless of course that's what she was going for. Her romantic affair with D'Argo began
passionately and impetuously, like so many of her adventures. But it ended badly. Unable to bring herself to reject D'Argo, she forced him to reject
her by engaging in an affair with his son, Jothee, when she knew that D'Argo would inevitably learn the truth. Ever since
her encounter with an Energy Rider, she has begun experiencing prophetic visions, fleeting glimpses of the future that
afterward leave her disoriented and blind. She doesn't know what these visions will develop into, but it is clear her new
ability comes with a high price -- and no instruction manual. |
Species - Nebari ; Member of Nebari Rebellion
Sikozu Svala Shanti Sugaysi Shanu
|
Kalish features- she can go for many solar days without food; if one of her appendages is severed,
the tissue is capable of rebonding without complex surgery; her brain is unable to tolerate Translator Microbes, which
means that, while the crew can understand her, she must learn their languages before she can understand them; capable of
shifting her gravity center, which allows her to walk on walls and ceilings. In fulfillment of her childhood dream, Sikozu
worked for a group called The Organization. It's unclear exactly what they do, only that they are demanding and prestigious
employers. For her first assignment, they gave Sikozu half a cycle to learn as much as she could about Leviathans. Sikozu is
highly intelligent, but she remains young. Her arrogant presumption to know everything about the great living ships already
is testing the limits of Pilot's vast patience. The Kalish live mostly in Scarran-controlled space, but they seem to have
only as much loyalty to the Scarrans as Leviathans do to the Peacekeepers. In other words, the Kalish hate the Scarrans.
