What I have learned about computers.

Well, I'm tired of the old homepage... it's time for a fresh new look. This time I'm going to be more me than before. The page design reflects my Indian heritage, of which I am very proud. The Creeks were once a strong and proud people, leaders of 12 tribes in the Creek Nation. We even had a written history, the only tribe to do so. We actually lived in log houses and in towns, not the nomadic life of the tepee. Unfortunately, most of my people were slaughtered and what few were left were relocated to Oklahoma from Alabama and Florida. But by golly, I'm back in Florida! That was the past, this is the present. So I borrow the background from my cousins of the plains and go on with living.

This picture was taken by a very good friend who allowed me to put it here! It is very special to me. Please do not take my wolf. He is my brother... and the photographer will want a ton of money in royalties. Yes... we will find you! *G*

The American Indians were very close to nature. As a people, they identified with the forces of nature as father, mother, sister and brother. Animals were especially revered and held the place of totem or god. One of my tribal totems was the wolf. This was not the timberwolf, but the Southern red wolf. I sometimes use the name Shung in chats. Shung is the Creek word for wolf. The picture of shung has been moved to the pack page, where she belongs now.
