Former president George Bush hurled himself out of an airplane yesterday and plunged 12,500 feet over his presidential library at Texas A&M University. Bush survived his third-ever parachute jump, so he gets to celebrate his 75th birthday Saturday. "This is kind of a euphoric high -- landing safely," Bush told onlookers, according to the Associated Press. Wife Barbara commented: "I'm going to announce it right now: He's going to jump when he's 80." Did this really happen?
About a year and a half ago before she died, Princess Diana mentioned that she wanted Prince William to go to Harvard. We heard the 17 year old Prince William wants to go to college in America also. But due to political reasons, it MAYBE impossible. So watch for him! Did Mike Myers, Austin Powers, have his movie toned down? Sources say it isn't as raunchy as the first movie. The Motion Picture Association of American made the producers of Austion Powers tone down the movie in order to stay in the PG-13 rating, or else he'd be in the R rating zone. Think that happened? Last week, the WB announced that the final episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer will air Tuesday, July 13 at 8 p.m. ET. The episode, second in a two-part finale, would have aired May 25. But it was pulled after the shootings at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, since it depicts violent scenes at Sunnydale High's graduation ceremony. At the premiere of Disney's Tarzan, TV Guide caught up with some celebrity fans of the world's most famous swinger (on the vine, we mean). Perhaps Matthew Lillard (She's All That) best explained the universal attraction to Tarzan: "I think it's the abs. Any brother who's got abs ... all the ladies love abs. I really don't have any abs. If I had some I'd be showing you right now! And any guy who kind of hangs out on a vine is all right."
