The Grandkids!
I had to get a new Guestbook. There seems to be a technical problem with old one.
Black and Perry family stuff here.

Located 10 miles east of Ft. Smith, Alma is in the foothills of the Ozarks and is the second largest town in Crawford County.(whoop-dee-do!) I-40 goes right through it. Take Exit 13. It's at the end of the road if your coming down I-540 from Fayetteville and the Boston Mountains. You can see the Poteau Mountains to the south from a top the hill. View pictures from the Alma page, the "Spinach Capitol of the World".
LIVE CHAT in the Alma chatroom!
US Highway 71 runs in front of our house. It is infamous for being one of the most deadly stretches of highway in the country, between Alma and Fayetteville, because of the mountainous curves and failure to observe speed limits. US71 has now been designated as a scenic biway!
The new I-540 is now open! It has twin tunnels and it cuts in half the driving time to Fayetteville from Alma.

Some of our interests include Jesus, bird-watching, star-gazing, diamond hunting and treasure hunting with metal detectors.. There are lots of birds to watch around here--the cardinals, robins, mockingbirds, bluejays and titmice all nest here and bring their families to our yard. An indigo bunting perches in a tree top and sings his song all day.
Visit our backyard to see a few pictures of the wildlife that were taken with a camcorder and Snappy!

There's a place in Arkansas where you can look for diamonds! It's called the Crater of Diamonds State Park. It is Arkansas best kept secret.
