"There'll Never Be Anyone Else But 'Rick' For Me"~(smile)

RICK NELSON~love always~

RICK   NELSON

Born Eric Hilliard Nelson, in Teaneck, New Jersey, to Harriet Hilliard (Mother) and Ozzie Nelson (Father) on May 8, 1940 was the boy we grew up with, Ricky Nelson. Rick had only one sibling, and that was his older brother, David Nelson.

I've had a crush on Ricky since I was in Jr.High School, '55/'56~
And I will have a special place, in my heart for him forever!
I dedicate this page to the memory of Eric Hilliard Nelson. He may be gone, but never forgotten~

CELEBRATE
Ricks 60th with Stone Canyon and Fans!

The "Nelsons" or "Ozzie and Harriet" show, began on radio. In October of 1951, the first television show was aired.
It was the first, and longest running family show, in history.

On April 10, 1957, the entire country was introduced to the "Singing" Ricky Nelson. He sang "I'm Walkin'" (a song that was once recorded by Fats Domino).
In '58 he recorded 'Lonesome Town'
***'61 he recorded both "Hello Mary Lou" and "Travelin' Man" (which, incidentally was his biggest hit, as well as being "TV's first music video").

IN Octber of 1971, Rick appeared, with his band, The Stone Canyon Band, (which had been together, with Rick, since '69) at Madison Square Gardens, in New York!!!! Rick wrote 'Garden Party', as his way of letting us all know how hurt he was at that performance!

What more can I say? Being a Rick Nelson fan for more than forty years, I just love everyone and anything that has anything to do with Rick~
