Before you contact me, . . .
READ THIS FIRST, READ THIS FIRST, READ THIS FIRST!!!

If you're contacting me about any subject OTHER THAN questions about the 90's MMC OR wanting to audition to be a Mouseketeer, you may skip to the bottom of this page. For 90's Club topics, I've corrected the link to Sherri Pettit's MMC Online, as she can field your Q's about Britney, Christina, Keri, et al. better than I. As for the Mousekawannabes, THIS PAGE IS FOR YOU, SO PAY ATTENTION!

If I come across as grouchy in this I'm sorry, but one of my pet peeves is people who didn't pay enough attention THE FIRST TIME. In this case, if you're trying to ask me for an audition, this means you didn't RTFWP (a variation on the infamous Internet acronym RTFM, only instead of Manual on the end, we have Web Page), specifically where the key sentence begins with "If you're looking to audition for..." between the site dedication and the navigation bar. This sentence asked prospective Mouseketeers to READ THE DISCLAIMER! and if you haven't done so, do it now...

What we are NOT...

To clarify on the Disclaimer,...

We are NOT... connected to Disney in any way, especially in the casting or talent development departments.

We are NOT... a talent agency, nor are we connected to any talent agency or other Hollywood entity that could arrange for auditions.

As such, I SEE NOTHING, I HEAR NOTHING, I KNOW NOTHING, and I AM CERTAINLY NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING about swinging screen tests!

In addition, and this is is the most important point:

We are NOT... actively campaigning for the production of a brand new fourth televised version of "The Mickey Mouse Club". It would be nice, but that's just not one of our goals. Our goals are spelled out in The Disco Mouseketeers' Manifesto and I especially suggest you hunker down and read it before continuing...

What we ARE...

In a nutshell, the Manifesto states:

We ARE... merely a fan organization -- just like "Star Trek" has its Trekkers, 1977's "New Mickey Mouse Club" also has its Disco Mouseketeers -- waxing nostalgic about what was to us a great TV show.

We ARE... also a quasi-political activist group of sorts. Acutely aware of how the 70's Club had been given the shaft by its creators, we're striving to change that. Our primary goal is to get Disney to (1) bring back all the 70's episodes to The Disney Channel, ABC, or some other children- or nostalgia-oriented channel, or (2) otherwise release these episodes out on Disney Home Video.

The best I CAN do...

Don't get me wrong, I admire all of your Mouseka-ambitions and more power to you, but you're all simply barking up the wrong tree beyond my exasperation point, so do NOT expect me to answer any audition requests. I will, however, keep a mailing list of sorts; if I hear further rumors of any upcoming Mouseketeer auditions, I will make an effort to confirm them and then submit the results to this list. To subscribe, click here, and type the word "subscribe" in the message body.

Walt Disney himself said that regular viewers of "The Mickey Mouse Club" are also themselves Mouseketeers, so the only way to be one at present is to watch the show. The only one on the air nowadays is the original 50's Club, now in whatever late night Vault Disney slot it's been moved to on The Disney Channel.

Now that all that's been taken care of...
