Interceptor's Interior
Interior General Powertrain Pics Mods
Looks good in the picture, and compared to
what it was before, it is really good. Can't tell too much from this pic, but the
seat has some black worn off. There's a few cigarette burns on the seats and carpet,
but not really too bad. No tears anywhere thankfully.
A good vew of the center part of the dash now that its clean and in one piece. When I got the car both vents were broken. Its actually hard to find a mint set of these vents at the yards. Lots of them out there, but there's always something wrong somewhere with them. The radio is the old-style Infinity II with stock speakers and two mismatched aftermarket 3" dash speakers I found at the yard. They work great though.
A 604 transmission aleart!! I wish it had a 5 speed, but this will do. After all, this is my backup car and in case I break my leg or something, i can still drive. Most people think this transmission is junk from experience, but if properly maintained, they'll last a long time. This one has 137k on it, and probably hasn't been maintained, and works quite well considering.
Cargo area. Carpet isn't the best of condition as it is worn from use. Same with the tonneau cover, but it works.
Rear seat. Not bad back here. Again, more cigarette burns, and one large one visible in the picture. Can you find it?
This interesting picture is one I have to show. It is the vent to the body computer on the passenger side kick panel. See that white stuff? I didn't clean this just for an example of how dirty the car was. Imagine the entire interior looking like those white area's. That's exactly what it looked like before I cleaned it.
Guage cluster of course. This wasn't as dusty as the rest of the car, but with the sun hitting it right, it was difficult to make things out.
I don't lie. 137k. Roughly 90k was done in Delaware, and the rest was done in 2 years in South Dakota. Was this your car at one time? It had 6 owners, so it coulda been.
She comes fully loaded. AM/FM casette, reclining bucket seats, power locks, power seat, power mirrors, overhead console, and power windows just to name a few.
A fairly rare item found in Daytona's. The overhead console of course. Shows NSWE (direction), and temperature in Fahrenheit and Celcius. But I am missing the garage door opener button. I have the door, but the button is missing. I NEED ONE. OR IF YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON A WHOLE CONSOLE, I'LL TAKE IT. I WANT ANOTHER. E-Mail me if you want to make a few bucks on one.
