Introduction:

        Orthodontic treatment is indicated in those patients in which the front teeth are improperly aligned & crooked in appearance. 2 types of Orthodontic treatment are available - Removable treatment and Fixed treatment. Removable treatment incorporates the wearing of an intra-oral removable plate which causes desirable tooth movement. Fixed treatment incorporates the use of bonded brackets on the teeth. The duration of treatment varies from 2 months ( in case of Removable ) to 2 years ( in case of Fixed). After undergoing Orthodontic treatment, the malaligned & crooked teeth become straight & improve the face value of the patient.
